Sheen No More: Denise Richards Legally Changes Name

Denise Richards is officially rubbing the Sheen off her last name. The 37-year-old actress, whose bitter divorce from Charlie Sheen was finalized in 2006, won a judgment Friday to legally change her surname back to Richards.

Richards and Sheen, 42, were married in 2002. She filed for divorce in March 2005, then the couple reconciled. In January 2006, they filed legal papers asking a private arbitrator to handle their split.

The couple has been embroiled in a custody battle since then over their two daughters, 3-year-old Sam and 2-year-old Lola.

Sheen is a star of CBS' "Two and a Half Men." Richards plans to show off her parenting skills as the star of her own reality show on E! next summer.

My favorite Denise Richards role was in my favorite movie, "Empire." In it, she got shot right between the eyes and fell over with a surprised look on a bed. Great scene.

After watching last nights Two and a Half men, I can see why she'd want to distance herself from this guy. The show is really going way too far with the sexual entendres and is kind of offensive to me. I think they are running out of ideas and are just going for the easy dirty joke.

As much as I think that Charlie Sheen is immoral with his hookers and cheating, I think that Denise "Richards" or whatever her last name is, is a looney opportunist with no talent and that she is exploiting her children with her "reality"show that no one will watch. I think that they might be better off with Sheen (the kids). Her anger and bitterness (she should have known what she was getting into, with Sheen, his reputation is terrible) and, quite frankly her immature craziness, would be laugable if she wasn't raising children. She should not be raising children with her mentality, period!
