Whoops! Skeet Ulrich "Jericho" Promotion Airs Days After Cancellation

Oh well! Skeet Ulrich recently taped an episode of "Rachel Ray" to promote his CBS show "Jericho," and it aired Monday morning. Unfortunately CBS axed the show just three days earlier. Watch as Skeet talks about the "really devoted, cult-like following" the show has (had?) that saved it once after it was canceled. Unfortunately for fans, it doesn't look likely to happen again.

One of the only good shows on network tv. Too bad. Hope it gets picked up somewhere else. Skeet's ok. That was probably a repeat of the RR show. I was flipping thru my three channels today and RR was repeating a pre-christmas show. These things happen.

the lack of comments to this story, admittedly about something as unimportant as a TV show, is ironic. And I would say, just a little bit humourous.

I will admit to being one of the Jericho faithful, that when our good town got it's ass cancelled, raised our fists to the starry night sky that is the television production hierarchy and and cried NUTS! I hope Ms. Tassler enjoyed my 5lbs of peanuts along with the other 50,000. (I know, they went to the troops and homeless)

Upon coming back, I never believed the show would make it, although the changing of the promo script from "Jericho Finale" to "Jericho Season Finale" had made me hopeful. At least this time they've promised not to leave us hanging.

6.8 million viewers average sounds like a good number for the Sci-Fi channel though. CBS stated one of the reasons for cancellation was sky-high production costs. For what? It's obviously shot outside LA on the same lots as "Dukes of Hazzard" MASH and countless others, special effects have been whittled away to nothing, Gerald McRaney left, seems the biggest expense would have been in military uniforms and equipment, which again have been cut back . What, CBS can't afford the five Humvees and three civi Hummers that have appeared? (Ok there was the one helicopter sequence) Those are already in their stocks. Maybe they could act it out with sock puppets? You wouldn't have to pay them b-list scale.

sock puppets!! LOL. Last night's show (the finale) was great, but left me wanting more. Stupid CBS; more Big Brother?

Yep, more reality crap. I have enough reality...actual real reality, not reality dreamed up by ridiculous network suits trying to pad their bottom line.

Start sending snail mail postcards to Sci-Fi. I hear that they are thinking about picking Jericho up. There's lot's of sites that'll give you the info on how to do it.

RANGERS SADDLE UP!!

Skeet is also know as the poor man's Johnny Depp. I like him but I never watched the show.

I for one am disappointed. I thought the show was exciting and currently affecting given our secretive government. I suspect a conspiracy here.

Skeet Ulrich's 15 minutes of fame were up nine years ago when he appeared in a beefcake photo on the wall above gay Satan's bed in the South Park movie.
