Poll: Obama Regains Big Lead In North Carolina

A new poll by Public Policy Polling (pdf) has Obama regaining a sizable lead the dissipated during the worst of the Wright controversy coverage. Obama leads in the poll by 21 points over his rival, 55-34.

Obama leads 80-14% among black voters.

Clinton leads 47-40% among white voters, which is a noticeable tightening; she led 56-30% only a week before.

If you are a democrat , you should be proud of Obama, he is bigger then life, a kennedy, a Regan, FDR, a once in a life time leader. Clinton , just petty. I lived in NC until 9 months ago. I'd been a northerner all my life before moving to Chapel Hill, and so I was unaware of just how amazingly dynamic the "New South" really is. According to census statistics, about a year ago, NC surpassed New Jersey as the 10th most populous state in the U.S. -- Yes, the very New Jersey that Sen. Clinton is always touting as evidence of her campaign's ability to win the "big states" has been supplanted by NC. The electoral map is being re-drawn in many ways these days.
