.The Rasmussen Poll also has Obama pulling within 10 points in Pennsylvania. If he could pull that down to about 7% it would end the whole thing right there. It's not probable but at least its possible.

Obama is going to take it. He has won the right way by staying positive and has concentrated on his strengths rather than his opponent's weaknesses. The sooner he can turn his attention to McCain the better.

Obama improving in one NC poll is probably good news to his campaign, but let's not forget a few things:

- Obama's won the national popular vote so far (even if you count Fla and Mich)
- Obama's won the delegate count so far (even if you add in superdelegates so far)
- Obama's won the most states by an overwhelming margin
- Clinton's campaign admits that she cannot change the above three facts, and can only win if the superdelegates' votes override individual citizens' votes

So while it's an interesting development that NC might pad Obama's unambiguous lead, it's sort of boring as far as "news" goes.

Well, the media the past few days has been saying that if Clinton could take NC, it would prove she has momentum, and the supers might vote for Clinton. The previous poll showed Obama only ahead by 1%. So 21% is a very good sign that this particular, new, Clinton spin on the election will be dealt its deserved death blow.

No wonder she brought up Rev Wright -- just as most of the media was letting it go.

Saying her lies about Bosnia were just mispeaking is so unbelieveable it is simply a lie about a lie. She was reading from prepared text -- you don't mispeak from prepared text.

A "misstatement" with such detail. The utter gaul of her! "I took her stuff and left", speaking of the little girl. I'm so glad your safety was important -- let's leave the kids to the "sniper fire".

Of course she made sure she defined "patriotism" today, just as the polls were showing Obama get past this nonsense.

But let's remember --

Johnson saying, "I don't know what he was doing on the streets of Chicago"; I don't remember Hillary chastising him.

The ravings of that union guy who introduced her the night Obama won Wisconsin and Hawaii. I don't remember her walking off the stage in protest.

"shuck and Jive" from Cuomo;

sending the picture of Obama in Somali garb;

"He's not a Muslim, as far as I know"

Circulating the hate email, directly from her campaign manager in New Hampshire;

Ferraro's affirmative action smear. When really, aren't Hillary and George Bush the quintessential affirmative action politicians?

Bill's repeated conflagration of race, fear.

The pattern of "hate speech" emanating from the Hillary campaign is breathtaking. But it's worth a two-day news cycle to question Obama using the word "periodically".

I'm assuming Hillary will disclose the beliefs of David Coe and the members of her prayer meetings with The Family. We have a right to know.

But she's the "patriot" and Obama is not.

Some democrat.

That's off the top of my head of "hate speech" that has come from

She's said it several times before, too (she lied about that today as well). Plus comedian Sinbad basically said it was a lie last week, but she felt she'd have the last word (with Chelsea lying for her, too). Luckily we have video tape (and some honest reporters who were along with her at the time). "Character"? "Leadership"? "Honesty"? "Experience"? "Judgment"? Obama is so clearly superior in ALL of these to BOTH Clinton and McCain.

I really hope that North Carolinians see the Clinton campaign's diversionary tactics for what they are. She is reinjecting Reverend Wright back into the equation to sully Obama in the eyes of American voters. Those who know the Clintons can call a spade a spade.

Since the primary will be held in May, isn't it a bit early to congratulate on anything? Last week, Clinton narrowly led in North Carolina and she had huge margins in states such as Texas or Ohio. Polls nearly change on a daily basis and the last General Elections crearly showed that you can not trust them that much.

So let us take these contests one at a time. First Pennsylvania, then Guam, Indiana and North Carolina and then the rest.

I talked to a friend stationed at Ft Bragg who has lived on or near base his entire life and this is what he told me about the campaign. Everyone he talks to sees that the dem race is over and Hillary lost and most of the people he talks to express more concern over whether the Obama will try to take their guns away than what Rev Wright said while Obama was playing Chicago politics. It is because they realize that Obamas views on religion are that it is more of a cultural exercise than anything and the reason he stayed there is the influence of the curch in the constituency he wanted to represent...talk about getting to know your voters. My (republican) friend ended the conversation by saying this. "It is all politics, nothing is based on what you say but how you say it. Obama says things in a way that generally comes off as honest and well intentioned. For the most part he does not duck questions or talk in circles until you forgot the original question. That is why I am voting for him." I personally have different reasons for voting for Obama but a vote is a vote.

I finally see it. It was an Act of God.

I just know that God said to himself a couple of weeks ago "I am fed up with the lying vile selfish Hillary - and the American people as well for so slowly failing to see her as she really is. They don't know what they are doing by always finding excuses for her candidacy, so I will give Barack a true iron test of character, honesty, intellect, and leadership that will shake him to the core of his soul - I will allow Rev. Wright's videos to be widely circulated by the mass media - and then I watch this giant of a man rise up from the ashes and powerfully demonstrate his superior gifts he offers to the people to everyone."

And in the past seven days Barack Obama has done exactly that. Hillary now looks so miniscule, so inferior, so unfit in comparison.

Thank you, God.

she is now raising the specter of Rev. Wright again as a smoke screen for her own failings. At this rate we will end up with a nomination not really worth having and a party in need of heart transplant.

Actually, I'm beginning to swing around to the idea that this might be a back-handed blessing in disguise (not an original thought, I hasten to mention, but a darned interesting one). That, especially coming from such a flawed source as she's generally (and growing consistently) percieved to be, these attacks lose their impact, especially so far ahead of the general election. Obama answered the association with Wright, made a truly historic speech in response, and, on the day that she's generally ridiculed for an outrageous "mis-statement" (note to Hillary: don't lie about something if it was filmed at the time...), she drags this out of the sewer again. Um... gee, how surprizing? All it does is make her look even worse, more divisive, less competent, less electable. And it makes Obama, by comparison, look that much better.
