Thank you, North Carolina!!!!!!!

we usually feel snubbed having one of the last primaries, but for once our votes are going to matter...It will really good if North Carolina gives the country Obama

Woohoo! Go Obama! I just sent in two more donations. You make us proud to be Democrats!

big mistake because as President she would never be sleep deprived when having to make an important decision so much for that 3 am argument.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:48 PM on 03/25/2008

Huge gaffe on her part. Wasn't she running on the argument that she could make sound decisions even at 3 AM? I can't wait for them to hammer her on this point.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 04:59 PM on 03/25/2008

Of course it is sleep deprivation. she is delusional! She just recalled it as if if really happened!

National polls mean zero. This NC polls doesn't mean much either. Regardless it's over.

Annin you were looking at the PPP poll from a week ago. I guess Hillary has to keep fanning the Wright thing in hopes they can swing back her way. I think it gonna back fire on her and her campaign. She congratulates Obama for giving the speech when it looked like she had momnetum. Now she has flipped...again.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:56 PM on 03/25/2008

BTW Annin wasn't Bill down in North Carolina making comments this week. Daggumit, He's done it to her again.

Don't know where you are getting your data. For the RealClearPolitics.com latest polls on NC, go to http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/25/poll-obama-regains-big-l_n_93331.html. It clearly shows Obama is in the lead in North Carolina:

Latest poll:

PPP (D) 03/24 - 03/24 673 LV 55 34 Obama +21.0

Average, 3/6 to 3/24 (including data from his drop to +1 a few weeks ago):

RCP Average 03/06 - 03/24 - 50.3 38.3 Obama +12.0

Annin, you need to give it up. Your delusion is only hurting yourself.

Besides:

a. PA is a CLOSED Primary - Democrats only! Limbo-Repubs beware! - but the MSM are always polling, like it was an OPEN primary - i.e. Independents and, Limbo-Repubs included. This tini winy detail GREATLY blurrs the value of the polling, if not outright busts it.

b. The Obama-campaign is working full steam, 24/7 to motivate independent Pennsylvanians to sign up to the Democratic Party in PA. And they are doing ONE-HELL-OF-A-JOB up there! Guess, who the "Newbe's" will happily be casting their vote for, afterwards...?

All that said and, considered, I wouldn't be surprised, if PA in the end would become a draw, if not even a slim victory for Obama.

Honni soit qui mal y pense.

I don't think this is all just rebound from Rev. Wright's comments getting placed back into their original context. I'll bet this includes a lot of people who are getting a clearer picture of Hillary's serial "misspeaking." Lost credibility rarely returns.

Of course we all realize that polls have margins of error, fluctuate daily and can be just plain dead on wrong. All the same, this new is good news!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:12 PM on 03/25/2008

Polls have a small margin of error. +21 points is well outside that margin. He's well and truly in the lead by a wide swath.

OBAMA....we need you to win. As you know this is no longer just about you. America and this American needs to wake up on a cold winter day to the image of you sir being inaugurated President of the United States of America. The thought of the Clintons back in the Whitehouse is one of the most singularly depressing things for many Americans, including this former Clinton/Gore 1992 Campaign worker. America needs an OBAMA victory desperately. Every citizen and OBAMA supporter needs to think of something that they can do to insure one more vote in every state left. The power to persuade through citizen journalism, commenting on my blogs in an intelligent fashion and contributing whatever you can, will change the world. Let's do it!

Considering that Obama has been running from sniper fire for months now, this bounce is pretty spectacular. But of course, Hillary will say that North Carolina doesn't matter. The only state that matters is Pennsylvania.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 03:09 PM on 03/25/2008

Really, and she was expected to win PA all along. She has all the machines in PA, Eddie and the boys! We will not forget you!

maybe these polls are why she just piled on with the wright-haters today, after taking the high road for a week or two. She said she would've never stayed with him as pastor. wow, really bold leadership, making that statement. what a cheap shot. she also would never have represented south chicago in the state senate for 8 years with that attitude.

Oh she definitely inhaled something. She and her mercenaries have been doing some serious tripping the past few months: Irrational, Irresponsible. Ignoble Delusions.
I just pray for the "party" and the Nation that she does not say, " No, No, No, to REHAB.

Hillary will drag the party to the bowels of hell before she'll concede. After Pennsylvania and North Carolina vote, the superdelegates need to intercede and deliver the coup de grace.

Wait a sec...isn't Clinton a war hero? I mean, she probably not only dodged bullets, but she probably single handedly killed Bin Laden w/her bare hands!

Wouldn't then people flock to Clinton for her war heroism?

Obama is the nominee. It's basic math. If you want to avoid 100 years in Iraq, War in Iran, and more corporate tax cutes (McCain said this today) then vote for Obama in PA, NC, and elsewhere. Let's get this done.

And they were saying she would have to prove her candidacy by taking states that she wasn't supposed to take. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!! All the news coming out now about her lying, and especially her "Wright" comment. She has no room to talk; belonging to a fascist right-wing prayer group "The Family"!!!

Its sad that some whites are letting another black man's words cloud their perception about one parishioner that happens to be in a campaign. It doesn't matter that they won't hear the full context of the sermon, it won't matter that there are white ministers and members in the church, it won't matter that Hillary is a proven outright liar. All that matters is that a black man said some things that they construed as attacking whites. So while they stew in misplaced anger and ignorance while clinging to a belief the country's history and policies are blameless, this race drags on. Hillary will survive in the polls on nothing more than the "white outrage" vote that is being stocked by the MSM with FoxNews running the whole circus. There has been major news happening and the media is still enthralled with Rev. Wright. It makes some wonder who REALLY has issues, Wright or the pundits in the media that can't let it go?

I think the bigger problem is that the usual suspects, Rush, FoxNoise, et al., are doing their thing and trying to throw the primary elections in Hillary's favor. They'd hate anyway and be racist anyway. But they have no morals or ethics to stop them from breaking the law. The Rev. Wright thing has lost its punch since the sound bites are now irrevocably tied in with Obama's own beautiful speech on race. You can't really play one without the other since last Tuesday.

We need to show up in truly HUGE numbers in the upcoming campaigns to offset what these low-life Republicans are up to. That'll be the key. Show up big and vote!! BTW, THANKS NC!!
