Reid: "Things Are Being Done" To End Dem Primary Before Convention

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) hints at some behind-the-scenes activity to bring the Democratic nomination race to a close:

Q: Do you still think the Democratic race can be resolved before the convention?

Reid: Easy.

Q: How is that?

Reid: It will be done.

Q: It just will?

Reid: Yep.

Q: Magically?

Reid: No, it will be done. I had a conversation with Governor Dean (Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean) today. Things are being done.

What are you talking about about. Obama is on vacation? He has said anything in a week. When he is speaking about Mrs. Clinton, he is always very respectful. He only brings up their differences on issues. He is trying to stay out of the mud. He's amazing how he stays on message, while the competition is trying to destroy him. I enjoy listening to Obama debate and speak about real issues. He showed last week that he could take on major issues and address them head on. He had so much presence. Obama is so Presidential. I have been reading over seas blogs and they too see the wonderful possiblilities Obama could bring to America. Also, I went to dinner with
12 republicans this week and it was so exciting hearing how much respect they all had for Obama.
8 of them said if Obama is the nominee, they would be voting for him. It surprised me how many have read his books, watched his speeches on youtube and seen the debates. It was thrilling to hear how informed they all were about Senator Obama.

He has so much class, honor and brilliant. I also admire how level headed he is.
