Progressive Blogs DailyKos, Open Left Officially Endorse Obama

Daily Kos:

So today the Blue Majority sites (dKos, Swing State Project, and Open Left) added Barack Obama to our ActBlue fundraising page. All three sites held votes of their readership. Daily Kos passed the super-majority threshold a few weeks ago, SSP and Open Left did it yesterday.

It's clear our communities have become heavily pro-Obama, especially as Clinton's only path to victory is via coup by super delegate and civil war, and she doesn't give a damn. Bowers gives his four reasons for the move:

This is news.????.­.since even before obama started his Auchi and rezko financed campaign these blogs have been flaming and smearing Hillary Clinton. It just goes to show they need more than viagra to try to prove to themselves they are a man. And then they have the nerve to beg for financial support.

When the campaign is over and the Hillary haters are gone where will their support be. The regulars are leaving these places in droves. Crooks and Liars and Raw Story, are the only two blogs around that support both sides of the issue. Guess the rest of the "GUYS" all have 95% of Fox News in them.

I'd rather Hillary just admit that she lied about the snipers. I mean we've had lying ass presidents before (both W. and Hillary's husband come to mind) so I'm guessing that would not be an utter disqualifer. But if she really had a "mistaken recollection" of having come under sniper fire that caused her and her teenage daughter to have to take off running through a hail of bullets to safety rather than the pleasant welcome ceremony in which she was greeted by a small child with flowers, do you really think we need someone whose memory is so distorted picking up the phone and making life or death decisions at 3 a.m. (or any other time)?

Everyone needs to relax! Myself included.

Soon this will all be over and I am confident we will find something new to bitch about. Here is how it will end: Obama elected President. The noise will still be loud through his first term. After his re-election to his second term, maybe a few of us will find solace in hearing our leader use words in a thoughtful way and maybe see how listening to dissenting voices is a good thing(even when they dissent from our own views).

Forget about the campaigns, the media, the surrogates. Try to filter out the noise. I know it is really hard to do. There are so many issues we care deeply about. I not asking you to not care. Just filter out the noise the best you can. Look for character in the candidates. Look at their stories. Try to determine what motivates them underneath their quests for power. Do that first. Then look at their policy positions second because that does matter.

After you do that then think hard about how change happens - both positive and negative. Then decide for yourself who to vote for and then vote. I will then see you back here to contemplate, pontificate, and bitch a little.

Hillary and Obama are worlds apart. Hillary is a center democrat. She believes in a strong defense of the country. She believes that troops cannot be pulled out until we have a plan to make sure that we
don't lose totally our influence in the middle east. Because if this should happen, we will have a revolt in the middle east. Saudi Arabia will fall like the Shah did and very likely Jordan too. Iraq will be ruled by Iran with China's and Russia's help. There is no way we can afford that, unless you morons want to walk to work every day. Obama 's back ground is a black liberated church that preaches that all evil
