Obama Nomination

NY Times' The Caucus:

Senator Barack Obama this evening called Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen's proposal of resolving the Democratic nomination contest in June "a good one" - although Mr. Obama seemed to be endorsing a June wrap-up more than the governor's specific plan to let superdelegates caucus to choose either Mr. Obama or Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"I think giving whoever the nominee is two or three months to pivot into the general election would be extremely helpful, instead of having this drag up to the convention," Mr. Obama told reporters as he flew from Greensboro, N.C., to New York City.

Is Hillary sucking the energy and will from the Democratic Party until it will be broken and defeated? What is her true motivate? It is just not about getting the nomination. I am not a Hillary hater, but my respect for her has waned.

Florida's State Dems have yet to hear from her.

It does actually mention that she hasn't done anything to reslove the Florida situation.

Um Chris....how about her pathological lying about Bosnia-she lied repeatedly, in prepared speeches about bullets whizzing over her daughters head.

You have no problem with having another pathological liar in the office.

Get some therapy/

Hillary is unfit emotionally, mentally and does not have enough experience telling the truth to be president.

Such hate! Get some help, please, for the sake of all those around you!

Hope you don't own a gun.

And why would the party allow her to break and defeat it? That's the question I want answered, and nobdy seems to know. She can't do to the party what the party won't let her do, so who's calling the party on the carpet?

I don't care how long Hillary stays in the campaign (it is completely her right) but I would prefer that she would run a dignified, positive campaign, like Mike Huckabee did. Everyone would have been furious if Mike Huckabee would have been pushing the lobbyist scandal story and trying to tear McCain down. I think its amazing how much more reasonable and professional McCain, Huckabee, etc have been to Obama than Hillary.

You're right. The civility was pretty amazing especially when you consider that Huckabee and McInsane are both totally crazy and delusional.

You are right, Huckabee never really said any bad things about McCain, only that he had a right to say in until his supporters wanted him out. This winch doesn't know the meaning of loyalty to the Democratic party!

I would not care if the nomination process continues until the election as long as the negativity stops. In fact having two Democratic candidates hammering McCain right up to the convention would be a good thing.

Sadly the Clinton campaign seems to feel that kneecapping Obama is the only way that they can win the nomination, so it will not stop attacking him. So much for togetehr we stand, divided we fall. Given this situation the sooner we end the race the better.

KNEECAPPING WAS STARTED BY OBAMA'S CAMP. RACE WAS STARTED BY OBAMA. HE IS SLICK. WAIT TILL THE REPUBLICANS GET A WHOLE OF HIM. THEY WON'T CARE THAT HE IS BLACK OR ABOUT THE BLACK POPULATION. HE IS GOING TO GET CREAMED. AND HE DOESN'T WANT FLORIDA OR MICHIGAN TO VOTE BECAUSE HE CAN'T WIN AND HILLARY WILL HAVE THE POPULAR VOTE. THIS MESSIAH IS AFRAID OF THESE TWO STATES. HE CAN'T WIN A BIG STATE. HE IS DIGUSTING. SO STOP PUFFING HIM UP WITH LIES.

I hate to tell you this but you can check it for yourself (go back and look at the results)...Barack Obama garnered more votes in almost every single primry held so far than the combined totals for all Republican cadidates combined! What I mean by that is...Pick a State where both the Republican and Democrats have held primaries and look at the votes cast for Obama then look at the total votes cast for the entire Republican ticket. Obama got as many if not more votes than all the Repubes combined.

Oh and quit screaming, it is so NeoCon.

Vincie - you told one truth here, "race was started by Obama" Yep he started as a African American. Appears you have a problem with that.

Initially, I felt like typing up a bebuttal to your rant. However, after consideration I now realize that your words truly are their own worst enemy.

she cant win, she knows it, she has to tear him down so Obama will loose and she can "save" us and tell everyone "told you" in 2012...

I too have no problem with her staying in if she would stop the negative BS, she just knows she cant win no matter what and is looking to 4 years down the road. I think it is rather short sighted, I for one will not forget the way she is acting, and it seems to be taking its toll on her approval rating. I think it would be funny if she looses her Senate seat over this crap.

You say she cannot win.He cannot either. Why should she get out when he cannot win.If the big state superdelegates vote the way the state did which is the will of the people she will be the nominee. The small states have are represented by just a few super delegates.Get your math right.Have you also noticed Obama negatives up to 51%.Trouble for the general.I actually do prefer Obama to be the one Mccain wipes the floor with!

Yeah and Obama KNOW blaming HRC for the muslim garb pic is not knee capping? Having General McPeak call Clinton McCarthy is not knee capping? That other Obama advisor who made the disgusting comment about the blue dress is not knee capping? Axelrod calling the Clintons racists over Gerry F's comments is not knee capping? Obama sending out lies in mailors is not knee capping? Obama sending out the same exact Harry and Louis mailer that the GOP and medical companies used to derail universal health care, is not knee capping? Give me a break and stop being so damn hypocritical........

I agree! Two strong democratic candidates out 'spreading the word' and challenging each other would be exciting, electric, thought provoking and wonderful for the political process!. However, one of our two Democratic candidates is divisive, less than honest and seems stuck in 'attack mode'.

What about those voters (Democrats, moderates and the unaffiliated) out there who will either vote Republican or just say home in November because of the bad taste left in their mouths from his this protracted, bloody battle?

I agree, continuing this race wouldn't be a problem if someone could muzzle the Clinton's. The endorsing of John McCrazy was as low as you can go. And this allowing McCrazy to travel the world and act like Commander and Chief is NOT good. We've missed two big opportunities lately to put the spot light on his faults, the 5 year anniversary in Iraq, and now this news that what little stability was in Iraq is blowing up. This is what our candidate should be addressing head on, but instead Sen. Obama is having to play political dodge ball against the Clinton's.
