Report: Eliot Spitzer Linked To Second Prostitution Ring, Wicked Models

Huffington Post   |   March 27, 2008 06:58 AM

Today's NY Post links former New York governor Eliot Spitzer to Wicked Models, a high-priced prostitution ring busted this week. His spokeswoman denies he was a client. Three weeks ago Spitzer stepped down as governor when he was linked to Emperors Club VIP. Based in midtown Manhattan, Wicked Models was run by a buxom blonde named Kristin "Billie" Davis, who also saw clients. Davis, 32, is currently being held on $2 M bail after pleading not guilty to promoting prostitution and money laundering.
Writes the Post:

The ex-governor regularly patronized Wicked Models, the Manhattan-based operation taken down Tuesday, according to financial documents and other evidence unearthed in a yearlong prostitution in investigation, law-enforcement sources said...

A source said Davis personally serviced Spitzer.

"She personally interfaced with Spitzer a number of times" since 2003 before she became a madam, a source close to Davis said.

When asked about the allegation, Davis told The Post, "I can't talk about it." Spitzer's spokeswoman, Anna Cordasco, countered that "Mr. Spitzer was not ever a client of Ms. Davis."

Wicked Models is rumored to a have a client list that includes athletes and politicians. Writes the NY Daily News, who reported the bust but not the Spitzer link:

Investigators Wednesday night pored over the little black book of an alleged midtown madam whose clients are rumored to include athletes and powerhouse politicians.

Kristin Davis, a busty bottle-blond accused of running a $1,600-an-hour call girl service, was jailed on $2 million bail after pleading not guilty to promoting prostitution and money laundering.

"I think any time she got her hands on someone worth bragging about, she might have kept a memento," said Jason Itzler, the self-proclaimed "King of All Pimps," who claims Davis worked for him in 2004. "She was a rock star escort."

Davis' attorney blames Spitzer, indirectly, for her arrest. According to the NY Times:

As Ms. Davis, wearing a black hooded jacket emblazoned with rhinestones in the shape of a flaming skull, stood in front of a judge, her lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, said that she was "clothed with the cloak of innocence" and was pleading not guilty.

Mr. Heller added that his client believed she was being "persecuted" because the recent investigation into former Gov. Eliot Spitzer's use of prostitutes had created a fervor about call-girl operations.

Wicked Models promised clients Ivy-league educated women and employed dozens of prostitutes. The Wicked Models website is no longer in service, touted, "Wicked Models is home to some of the most beautiful women in the world. We represent many different types of companions..."

25 dead and counting in Iraq....

McCain apologists claiming he didn't really mean he'd stay in Iraq 100 years...

Hillary facing the music

Texas recounting and Obama winning.... no clue if it was Cargill's nasty to an Hispanic...

Wall Streat collapsing

I really don't care about spitzer...he's resigned, so he is not in a position to help anyone with anything... move on.

According to the article, the NY Daily News "reported the bust"? Very clever.

Does anybody know what correctional institution the sex criminal is currently being held?

Perhaps the Spitzster can be cell mates with that heroin dealer... Rush Limpdick?

Perhaps, given enough time together, they would learn to love and... how does Borat put it?... to 'shoot romantic love' on each other!

Woman linked to Spitzer becomes celebrity, makes tons of money on her "music," gets asked to be vodka brand ambassador, etc. Suddenly other woman comes along, who certainly does not look like Spitzer's "type" (as others mentioned above, a 'handsome" woman) and says "I am linked to Spitzer." You do the math.

Can Huffpo please drum up some stories about people that are making a difference in this world by exhibiting selfless compassion and helping others - teachers? social workers? guidance counselors? People who devote their lives to the betterment of humankind? It would be very refreshing and much appreciated!

Well Spitzer did help the other gal to become famous getting her some mega-buck contracts and the media, in their clueless sensationalism, helped as well. So this girl is just next in line

I read a comment after a blog about the government and he suggested tearing down the Ivy League schools because there seems to be nothing but Ivy Leaguers running the government to its detriment. It is something I can abide because along with improving the government by getting fresh people other than cronys and nepotism in the government you would also break up the Ivy League schooled prostitution rings. Not that they would'nt be formed by other university conferences but other than those from Duke and Stanford, they won't have their noses in the air.

4000 US service men and women dead. Over 30,000 wounded. 200 billion in taxpayer money used to bail out Baer Stearns. 3 trillion dollars spent in Iraq. This hardly qualifies as news to me. I really don't give a shit about Mr. Spitzer. If America thinks that he is the only politician out there doing this, then, I have a bridge I'd like to sell you. Give me a break, keeping this story in the news is right out of the republican playbook. Pre-occupy the dimwits in this country with stuff like this, that way the neocons can continue to rape and pilage America at will. What a f--king joke.

WHO REALLY CARES ANYMORE?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:43 AM on 03/28/2008

I agree. We've established that democrat politicians are every bit as corrupt and sleazy as their corrupt republican counterparts. Move along.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:02 PM on 03/28/2008

Why do they keep showing these photos of Eliot without his dentures? Is the media trying to make him look bad.?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:43 PM on 03/27/2008

Well, at least Elliot seems to have much better taste in women than Bill Clinton.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:51 PM on 03/27/2008

He was a great AG. He went out of his way to keep his extra-marital sex life private. He was targeted because of the threat he posed to Wall St, particularly because of the sub-prime mess. The keep piling on and on. This story is a great distraction. When will Huff show some character and drop it?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 07:05 PM on 03/27/2008

Can anyone say double jepardy? They already got him to step down, do a tell all, what more do they want from the man, his left testicle? There are far more important issues to be dealt with in this country than a guy who chose to diddle a prostitute. Soldiers are dying on a daily basis, and thier autopsies are getting tampered with by our military and govt. That is an issue. This isn't an issue.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:46 PM on 03/27/2008

His work should be totally separated from personal reasons. I still have respect for the man. You get into any marriage and you will find problems, even mine. It's just that way, we are all human. This guy had tremendous potential for the democratic party. Take care Eliot.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:35 PM on 03/27/2008

His legacy will be that he was a dam good Attorney General!

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:26 PM on 03/27/2008

...except that he seemed to SELECTIVELY prosecute prostitution rings....

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 09:21 PM on 03/27/2008

Yeah. That's my big problem with this as well. And that, by all accounts, he WENT OUT OF HIS WAY to go after those rings. It's the hypocracy that bothers me -- MUCH more than the fact he used these services. (Which, btw, I think should be legal -- but that's another thread.)

"Ms." Davis has heavy supraorbital ridges. I think she used to be Mr. Davis.

Conan O'brien joked last week, after former Gov. McGreevey's (D-NJ) revelations about threesomes with his wife and his male assistant, "Gov. Spizter (D-NY), your move!" suggesting that Spitzer now had to top McGreevey in sleaziness.

Having sex with a transexual prostitute is a pretty good allegation to up the ante.

Credit though to the new Gov. Patterson (D-NY). Even though he had his sex for free, he and his wife had many partners and he paid for some hotel rooms with govt. money. And then the drug revelations. He is a tough competitor, especially after becoming known nationally only a week ago.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:17 PM on 03/27/2008

I actually find it more respectful towards his wife and daughter. He is interested in purely economic relationship, isn't interested in having affairs, wants to keep it clean. No body gets hurt.

As opposed to others, say like Newt, that have affairs, and then dump their wives when they're dying of cancer.

The French are good with this. They have mistresses, and everyone knows, altho I am sure both the wives and the mistress "suffer" but at least marraiges stay together, and families are whole (even if they have extra marital people).

The Americans prefer either to cheat and serially dump their spouses, or pay for the sex, and keep it all business.

I think we're such prudes. The rest of the world laughs at us because we as a culture, with our repressed and puritan morality, force ourselves into positions like Spitzer, Larry Craig, and all the rest.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:09 PM on 03/27/2008

I'm with ya all the way, except for the part where he tried to pay for unsafe sex. That's more than sleazy & certainly not "clean." We stereotype sex workers as vectors for disease - isn't that exactly what Spitzer is?

What is the divorce rate in France? If it's around the same as ours than maybe that doesn't work either.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:56 PM on 03/27/2008

The divorce rate is not that important because the French do not marry anyway.
From WaPo:
****

"French marriage rates are 45 percent below U.S. figures. In 2004, the most recent year for which figures are available, the marriage rate in France was 4.3 per 1,000 people, compared with 5.1 in the United Kingdom and 7.8 in the United States. The only European countries with rates lower than France's were Belgium, at 4.1, and Slovenia, with 3.3."

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 08:36 PM on 03/27/2008

Um, I think it's the duplicity that's the problem here. Clearly you don't think it's wrong to use other people for sex, but set the fact that you have no moral compass aside for a minute and try to focus on the fact that the basis of marriage is an exclusive relationship in most cases. Unless any of them agreed to open marriages or weren't married in churches that forbade sexual relations outside the marriage, they are not honoring their commitments and living in a duplicitious, hypocritical way. You should move to France if you want to live that way and have a madonna at home and a whore on the side, tough guy.

My second thought on this story. It would appear that Arianna's writers are not cleaving themselves from the cleavage stories normally found on Fox News. It is now easy to see they are also not Hillary supporters, as they certainly don't give her cleavage the same exposure.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:52 PM on 03/27/2008

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:01 PM on 03/27/2008

Absolutely

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:18 PM on 03/27/2008

Why isn't Huffington Post writing about the fact that they now admit the person who gave the FBI information about Spitzer is the same person who made threatening phone calls to Spitzer's family and when the police traced it to his phone, he admitted it was from his home but claimed someone must have broken in and been impersonating him? Why aren't they writing about about how Spitzer had recently been speaking out about how Bush and his administration knew about all the mortgage fraud and how they're protecting banks the same way they always do? Why aren't they writing about someone decided to tell the NYT the identity of Spitzer but not any of the other clients? And why did they do it THE SAME WEEK that the Fed decided to bail out an investment bank and allow them to borrow money although only commercial banks are supposed to do that?

This is NOT about prostitution. I'm sure they're going to censure this.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:42 PM on 03/27/2008

why is spitzer the only famous person whose name is out? There has to be other rich and influential people involved. How come we don't see a list?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:30 PM on 03/28/2008

Yes, why is Roger Stone getting a pass on all this when the Feds have already debunked the Spitzer - Davis story? it's just not true, and the real story of mister sleeze Stone is MIA.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:15 PM on 03/28/2008

You have just written about this on Huff Post. Some other questions: who are Mark Brenner and Jason Itzler and have they played a role in exposing Spitzer's affairs?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 07:24 PM on 03/27/2008

But I'm not being paid to write about important issues - they are. I don't know anything about Itzler except that he ran the escort company and Brenner is a lawyer who works on cases involving debt and bankruptcy. I know the Bush administration was involved in this but it's impossible to prove.

That is what journalists are supposed to do when they investigate but journalists are doing that. I've worked for financial companies and I know what they're capable of and how they would destroy anyone who threatens them. Sometimes I think I'll just tell the world everything I know that goes on behind the scenes but then I know they have expensive lawyers who will sue people who talk about working at those companies because they make you sign agreements not to ever talk about it.
