And, as for Obama "changing the subject and never saying he doesn't think he (Wright) is bad for hating America and Whites" --Obama wasn't changing the subject in order not to say that Wright was bad...he wasn't going to denounce the man. Obama, long ago, denounced what Wright had said, but as he said on the show, Wright has contributed much of a positive nature with his parishioners. While your piety allows you to be judgmental as it relates to Obama, I would assume that you've held yourself to the same standard of sanctimonious behavior and written off all friends and family who have said foolish and/or inflammatory things that were not in keeping with your beliefs and were an embarrassment to you.

The funny thing is Wright is speaking what he believes to be the truth.

Well, I've actually been to 3. Easter, Christmas and the Sunday after Christmas in 1997 with my ex-girlfriend's family. I failed to see any hint of racist hate in the services.

Rev. Wright is not exactly a spring chicken. It is not that unusual for a minister to retire at 67.

I have some friends and family whose opinions I find highly objectionable. However, I do not "quit" family and friends because of their political opinions. Perhaps you do?

Lets face it. A black man as old as this minister has a lot to be bitter about. He has survived segregation, lynching and discrimination. Just today Condoleeza Rice spoke of the humiliating experiences of members of her family in recent memory. So let's not get so self righteous my friend. Over time there are far more instances of hate crimes perpetrated against Blacks by Whites than vice versa.
Obama's minister may have gone overboard in his condemnation of abuses and failed to appreciate progress. Nevertheless he did not advocate any hostile action. Instead he preached self reliance, self contrlol, self improvement and giving back to the community,

Attacking Obama like this only makes him stronger! I find it amazing that the Clinton campaign has not gotten the memo yet. As I'd stated in the past, the Wright issue would give him a great platform to step up as a leader and illustrate one aspect of what he means by "Change". He did just that, and it will ultimately be a net gain for him.

Now, to attack him on the semantics of the term "professor" only gives him a platform to talk not only about the validity of the title but about a subject on which he lectured: the Constitution. This will only help him with conservatives. Further, this and the Wright issue continually references and validates his Unity speech, which is already being deemed historic.

I said it before and I'll say it again: Hillary should sue Mark Penn and her other strategists for malpractice.

Obama has a lot more questions to answer about Wright's influence upon how he thinks and what he believes. Also, he shouldn't look as if he is so insulted by the continuing questions, after all, he has said that Wright was his spiritual adviser. Wright still must have at least some influence ,because he is an adviser for his campaign.
