What a brainy, zany guy. Hear tell he's looking for a talk show host job when he leaves the WH, or a visiting scholar gig. With his academic credentials, his quick wit and silver tongue he's a shoo-in for six figures. Well, maybe his dad will set him up with a gig somewhere doing something that requires no achievement, thought or scholarship, the way he's done all of w's life.

Nobody he knows needs it, so what's the problem? You can't expect this genius to keep track of EVERYTHING. He hires incompetants such as himself to take care of this "bidness" as they say in Texaas.

Bush picked a really strange choice of venue to deliver this message. I live in that county.

If we have a serious foreclosure issue it's pretty well hidden! We are not seeing huge numbers of For Sale signs. It's a developed housing market, reliant on NYC commuter demand and has come through this "crisis" very well, so well in fact I am not even sure our county stats would show a decline.

Todays local paper introduces us to the servives of a place called Novadebt, a private enterprise where he held this event. Seems to me like another chance for commercial pals of the Bush to make money off this mess.

Guess the idea of going to a city like Detroit which is really hard hit, and giving the remarks at a non profit where they are desperately needed did not occur to him.

But then, he also had no idea we are nearing 4 dollar gasoline.

I notice that when watching, and particularly reading transcripts of Bush speaking, that the he always stops midstream in sentences and changes his thought patterns a lot.

Hearing Bush speak, I've thought that there must be some organic basis for his peculiar mode of speech, articulation problems, and miscues. A learning disability, a reading problem, dyslexia or some other disorder could be a possibly reason for his malapropisms (aka Bushisms). The only problem with that premise is that any one of those conditions would have manifested and been diagnosed early on during childhood.
There has been speculation by some who believe that Bush has what is known as presenile dementia. It's a fairly typical Alzheimer's situation that develops significantly earlier in life, well before what is usually considered old age.
I don't believe he is stupid; he did earn an MBA from Harvard, not an easy accomplishment. There has to be some physiological or psychological problem, not yet known by the public, that has affected his cognitive skills.

Bush, the major disaster, is only good at one thing: messing things up.

The moron has done nothing but damages to the nation, from the environment to homeland security, from domestic security to international image, from health care to education, from housing to the economy! Everything the bastard touches turn into crap. And this is why America is in the toilet as we are today.

Like many have suggested, impeachment is not enough of a punishment for this arrogant SOB George W. Bush and his conspirators like Dick Cheney and the rest of the evil Neo-con gang.
