Peggy Noonan: At This Point You Either Understand The Problem With Hillary Or You Don't

I think we've reached a signal point in the campaign. This is the point where, with Hillary Clinton, either you get it or you don't. There's no dodging now. You either understand the problem with her candidacy, or you don't. You either understand who she is, or not. And if you don't, after 16 years of watching Clintonian dramas, you probably never will.

That's what the Bosnia story was about. Her fictions about dodging bullets on the tarmac -- and we have to hope they were lies, because if they weren't, if she thought what she was saying was true, we are in worse trouble than we thought -- either confirmed what you already knew (she lies as a matter of strategy, or, as William Safire said in 1996, by nature) or revealed in an unforgettable way (videotape! Smiling girl in pigtails offering flowers!) what you feared (that she lies more than is humanly usual, even politically usual).

I just LOVE Peggy Noonan. From her love of large families to her always elegant narrative, she is just such a... LADY ... in the very best sense of the word! This article sums it up brilliantly. Personally, I am very disturbed by the EASE and the frequency of Hillary's Bosnia lie. And no, it wasn't a "mis-statement," it was a LIE. And she didn't just come up with it on one sleep-deprived day, there were several instances over the last few months in which she shared this lie with the American people from the stump. We now KNOW that Hillary is a liar. The question is: Is Hillary Clinton a pathological liar? The ease and the confidence in which she told the Bosnia lie would certainly indicate some sort of personality disorder. Given her background, and the oppressive presence of Hugh Rodham Sr. in her psyche, I think it might be possible that Hillary Clinton is a high-functioning borderline personality. Borderline Personality Disorder is EXTREMELY serious, and the damage to those who become entangled with BPDs is just beyond tragic. BPDs are extreme narcissists who develop intricate fantasies of the way they want the world to see them, then assign those fantasies factual status. The Bosnia lie is CLASSIC Borderline Personality Disorder behavior. G-d help us if this woman gets any further along in the process. The Clinton lies are indicative of a much larger, and much sicker truth. We cannot afford to ignore them.

i think there's a special category for the tarmac sniper lie. i think it hooks up with her disastrous decision that she has to prove she's tough. someone who thinks they have to prove they're tough is exactly wrong for the presidency. but that lie category has ensnared nearly all politicians except barack and bill. that is: the irrational compulsion to associate themselves with guns, hunting, war, violence, blood, and so on. politicans cannot help themselves. they always lie about being involved with these things. it's compulsive behavior. the ease with which these lies can be disproved doesn't matter- the compulsion to rub up on armed and blooded fraternities is too strong.

We know HIllary. The problem is that Hillary doesn't seem to know herself. This series of recent exposed lies is not the first in her history, as we know. She seems to make up life as she goes along, sorta like GWB, and we've had enough of life in an alternate universe.

Could she have such a strong sense of superiority and entitlement that she sees anything, any behavior as acceptable if it helps her get that which she believes should be 'hers? I know someone who actually submitted a graduate psych paper based upon this assessment of her, by the way.
