Bill Maher is a misogynist and his embarrassing lack of political knowledge (and tendency to genuflect before conservatives particularly those with an English accent) is probably the explanation for his being allowed on air. Do you think GE would let Carlin or Chapelle become political pundits!

What's pathetic and pathological is the way the male dominated media and political machine is so threatened by a strong woman that they'll do anything possible to ensure she doesn't get elected. They can try to stop her if they want, but doing so will just set the stage for another republican win in November. There's no way on earth that Obama will win against McCain, and people who think so are just deluding themselves.

It may be too late for her to escape with any dignity at all, and if she gets her way, Barak Obama and the Democratic Party won't have any dignity either., and without no healthcare (she is certain to sell us down the river on that AGAIN, because no matter how much she promotes her "plan, " her corporate sponsors will have to be repaid.) there will be no dignity for a lot of Americans who deserve better.

My theory about the Clintons is that they are always trying to give people the idea that dignity is just a step away for them and other dignity-challenged Americans, and that once people stop persecuting them, they will revert to that central core of decency that nobody who is honest with him or herself can report ever having seen in person.

Why? Because their self-perceived persecution never stops BECAUSE IT IS BASICALLY COMING FROM INSIDE THEIR OWN HEADS and they have no incentive to make themselves behave....­not when they can rationalize the bad behavior by blaming others. What did Obama do to "persecute" them? Of course, he had the audacity to run for a public office that they felt entitled to.

As Roseanne Roseannadanna used to say back in the days when SNL was still funny, "It's always something, " when it comes to the Clintons and their self-justification for the mayhem they cause.
