Clinton Campaign To Reporters: Don't Call Us, We'll Call You

Remember when Hillary Rodham Clinton was the inevitable nominee for the Democratic Party? She could adopt the strategy of an incumbent candidate and not worry about giving access to reporters.

Well, now that much of the pundit chorus has written off her campaign, Clinton is embracing the media.

The Clinton campaign requested the interview Saturday to talk about how she could win and to emphasize her focus on Michigan and Florida.

Can't say I blame her. The media has been in the bag for Obama for months. When FOX becomes the network that can at least give us the news about Hillary without crapping all over her, it is a sad, sad time.

The Media will always keep Hillary in the front of the news. If they think it will sell a paper or get a headline the media will jump when Hillary speaks. Hillary needs the media to win the nomination. Why do you think she keeps bringing up Florida and Michigan? Anything to keep her name in the news. All the media will do as she likes. What would happen if the media did not say Hillary, Obama or McCain for three days? I think all the candidates will poop their pants.

Clinton needs to drop MI altogether. The entire Primary was declared unconstitutional - including the GOP primary. MI clearly has no one to blame but themselves. Hillary I guess has no problems calling herself the winner of an unconstitutional primary. I love how MI loves to state how their votes should count, yet they tried to squash the voices of third parties by not giving them the same access to voting records.

So now we have two states that can't figure out how to cast a vote: MI and FL. Michigan can't figure out how to run a constitutional election, and FL can't count. Personally I find their predicaments fitting. These states have had well over 100 years to get it right.

She thratens all those around her, Pelosi, DCCC, now the rank and file democrats with tearing down the party if she does not get her way. By saying that she will take it to the convention if FL and MI don't get seated.

I am the Democratic Party and I am so over her. In Feb I was open to both candidates, by Mar I was pro-Obama, now I am pretty much anybody but Hillary.

Since I vote in PA, I get my say at the best possible time. Just months ago, I considered Clinton and Obama equally, but when Hillary pointed out that both she and McCain were more qualified than Obama, she made up my mind for me. She placed me firmly in Obama's camp.

What makes this especially sad is the fact that they already have planted their people in editor's shops around the country. The only time she looks good is when you hold her up next to George W. McSame or one of the Bushs.

Feeling entitled to the nomination is just not working. I guess after her carpet-bagging run on New York, with all her transparent "repositioning" to gain the upstate Republican voters she thinks she can get away with anything. Who does she think she is, Eliot Spitzer?

The no money part is true,I have been getting emails from her campign'signed' by Hillary ,asking for MORE money,saying she has to have THREE MILLION MORE by midnight Monday !!Why ,is she going to try and bribe the democratic party or what ? that was BEFORE mcclinton was losing. NOW that she's on her way to ultimate rejection, she's discovered her principles about democracy and all that. of course, when the time comes, she'll be using her gorgon-like stare to intimidate the "super" delegates into disenfranchising the whole damned bunch of us who were stupid enough to vote in a primary or caucus. or dumb enough to be born in a state that doesn't matter.

The media would best Serve US is they never bothered to call her again. If they wish to be a source of Current Events they need to catch Up- We are Over her. any attempts to breath life ito her failed campaign, her failed Career or jsut to keep up their Ratings will only work against them.
Seh would have had a great chance in '04- there waas more people feeling a 'duped ' as she Claimed to have been - WE'd have given Her Grace. but th elast 3 yrs has only solidified the reality that Hillary has no intentions of working for the Dems or country benefit- Only her Own. We know she failed at the Tasks We already Assigned Her- Why would we consider promoting Her when we many of US want her Fired from her current Position?
How can this person from the hated 'Clinton 'years, who has failed to use her clout to push the Cititzens Antiwar demands, Protect our Military , our Economy, Our health care , our wages , our Benefits, Our homes, Our Futures possible be referred to as a contender. I as a Michigander feel she was HANDED OUR PRIMARY. Add to that her Rovian Tactics and I've come to the Conclusion the Media is Playing along just to boost their Ratings/ Market shares and Their Advertising Revenues.
