Hillary Clinton opened up her press conference in Philadelphia today with a bold new challenge to Barack Obama (it was met by "guffaws all around from the press corps"):

"This has been a very hard fought race. We need to do something so that our party and our people can make the right decision. So I have a proposal: today I am challenging Senator Obama to a bowl off. A bowling night right here in Pennsylvania. Winner take all. I'll even spot him two frames.

"It's time for his campaign to get out of the gutter and allow all of the pins to be counted. And I'm prepared to play this game all the way to the tenth frame. and when this game is over the American people will know when that phone rings at 3am they'll have a president who's ready to bown on day one. So let's strike a deal and go bowling for delegates. We don't have a moment to spare.

"Because it's already April Fool's Day. So happy April Fool's Day everyone."

She needs to learn that staying on message can eventually look FORCED. Find new ways to say what she is trying to say. I am starting to think she will start smoking and we'll find out she is robot.

Votes must count....zz...z.. votes must....count...b.rrrwww

Yeah, what a joke she is. Wanting all peoples votes to be counted, the nerve of some people. Doesn't she know that Obama is the great saviour, a gift from God to save us all and give us everything we want. What a silly notion that voters should be heard, I'm outraged.

Hehe...that's funny.

Although, the extended metaphor got a little stale by the fifth line.

he should do it as long as she agrees to a little one-on-one on the basketball court!

Or a few rounds in the ring, "Rocky" style. Heh, heh, heh.

Hillary, it is not funny anymore. Democrats are in a state of mourning as a result of your delusion of grandeur and unexplainable sense of entitlement.

You are wrong as usually. Only Obama supporters want her to step down . Over 60% of the people want the race to continue and an equal amount want both to step down. but why let facts get in the way of your incentful rants. Loosen up, it was a joke.

Please tell me where she got that infamous 60% survey (I think this was the 60,22,22=104, but never mind)...

The only way she can make herself look good is by trying to make Obama look bad, whether she is joking or yelling at him. Even if she succeeds with her supporters, she comes out looking far worse, and the GOP ranks are waiting at the sidelines happy to have her tarnish the inevitable Dem Nominee. It's one thing to complete the Primary process; another thing to bring us all down with her tactics. Every few days there is a new theme - race baiting, Obama subverting the democratic process, Obama doesn't like women- This isn't just the kitchen sink, it's a constant running faucet of negativity.

Please step back and think about how this will end... Even if she manages to overturn the delegate vote at the Convention, she has burnt so many bridges that there is no way she can win the General. She is taking us all down with her.

that was a good one, the delivery was questionable.
Obama: i want to announce with great pride that president Clinton has decided to endorse me for president, and since he will be campaigning now for me, he will be representing me at the Obama/Clinton bowl off. It will therefore be a Clinton/Clinton bowl off.

Finally! A sense of humour! I'll spot both of 'em two frames. Or I could coach Barack on his delivery.

I voted for Hillary. Lately though, her campaign tactics have revealed that there's plenty not to like.

Another little not-so-subtle nudge by ACA to send those nickels and dimes to Hillary; she of the tanked campaign who had to use 5mil of her "own" $$$. Now if we could just get a nudge for the IRS returns to be made public, we might see WHY she's broke! But, keep on begging, maybe you'll get lucky...

Oh man, I knew she would do this! haha, I knew she wouldn't be able to resist a Rocky metaphore or a jab at his girly bowling. Still, it's so predictable.

That's about as funny as the Clinton Sopranos commercial. She's smooth like ex lax.

though as an Obama supporter, I did think the "Sky will open up" thing she did was funny

LOL So does he get to challenger her to one-on-one in basketball? I'd pay to see that!

They should do it for real. That would go a long way to quelling some of the bad blood right now. But not winner take all. They both can come out looking human. That's better than a debate.
