Bill's Tirade In Private Meeting Stuns Superdelegates

"The Bill Clinton who met privately with California's superdelegates at last weekend's state convention was a far cry from the congenial former president who afterward publicly urged fellow Democrats to 'chill out' over the race between his wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and Barack Obama," the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

"It was one of the worst political meetings I have ever attended," one superdelegate said.

According to those at the meeting, Clinton - who flew in from Chicago with bags under his eyes - was classic old Bill at first, charming and making small talk with the 15 or so delegates who gathered in a room behind the convention stage.

But as the group moved together for the perfunctory photo, Rachel Binah, a former Richardson delegate who now supports Hillary Clinton, told Bill how "sorry" she was to have heard former Clinton campaign manager James Carville call Richardson a "Judas" for backing Obama.

It was as if someone pulled the pin from a grenade.

"Five times to my face (Richardson) said that he would never do that," a red-faced, finger-pointing Clinton erupted.

The former president then went on a tirade that ran from the media's unfair treatment of Hillary to questions about the fairness of the votes in state caucuses that voted for Obama. It ended with him asking delegates to imagine what the reaction would be if Obama was trailing by just 1 percent and people were telling him to drop out.

I have no problem calling the current POTUS exactly what he is: a war criminal. His lies have affected the lives of millions.

Prior to these Clinton comments becoming public, Governor Richardson wrote an op-ed piece for the WashPost in which he stated he had never told either Bill or Hillary Clinton that he would endorse Senator Clinton. Whom are you going to believe, Governor Richardson or a convicted perjurer? I voted for Bill Clinton twice, but I'm sorry to say that lies and delusion seem to be Clinton family traits. The Clintons don't mind slandering people along their way, either. Sen. Obama has received something like 64 superdelegate endorsements since Super Tuesday; Sen. Clinton has LOST 9. I am a bit weary over this so-called tirade. It seems to me there are the card carrying Clinton bashers who love to create negatives. Why is it Clinton (Bill and Hillary) are two great Americans, one who has been President, and the other who wants to be and all they get for their service is criticism. I agree with President Clinton's anger over Richardson's endorsement of Obama. Bill Richardson owes his career to Bill Clinton. The betrayal was stunning to me. I wish every one would be as fair to Hillary as the media has gone out of their way to anoint Obama. Obama had a race issue with his Mentor Rev. Wright and all he had to do is give a speech.
On CNN every night Jack Cafferty's first question is a Hillary negative question. I am sick and tired of Obama getting away with everything and Hillary, Bill and Chelsea have been demonized.
