The website "thebrunomovie.com" obtained footage of Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen filming his new movie:

Sacha Baron Cohen and crew have been spotted in Wichita, Kansas this week filming bits for The Bruno Movie. TheBrunoMovie.com has received exclusive video of Bruno in the lobby of Wichita's Mid-Continent Airport. According to sources, "...the film crew tossed off their coats and did some "kissing" and "fighting" in the hallway leading to the security area at the airport." After leaving the airport Bruno and crew ended up crashing an Easter play in a church while wearing chains.

The website also reports Ben Afleck will be one of the celebrities punked in the movie.

"Mike Walker of the National Enquirer reported the following on the Howard Stern Show on Thursday: Ben Affleck called comedian friend Sarah Silverman after completing a sit-down interview with a person he was told was a "very famous openly gay fashion journalist". Ben called the interview "the weirdest sit-down he has ever had with a reporter" explaining that the interviewer's (wholm he refered to as an "idiot") first question was "How Do You Like Niggers?" After a stunned silence, Silverman asked Affleck "Was this guy's name Bruno?" Then and only then did Affleck actually realize that the whole thing was a gag. There is no doubt that this interview will be featured in the final cut, which is currently scheduled to hit theaters in October 2008."

Regarding Cohen and his cohorts crashing an Easter service in a church, I wonder what the reaction would have been if his name were Smith and he crashed a passover seder.

I wonder if the man that is visible in both clips is a stooge that is pretending to be an average Joe caught up in Bruno's excitement. He definitely seems to be acting based on the shots I've seen here.

I once emailed the driver instructor from the last movie and told him how cool I thought he was. He wrote me back thanking me for my comments saying that he had gotten a lot of negativity from people. The next day he filed a lawsuit against Cohen. I think that one has either been dropped or is gone as well.

Let me update with some real news. Apparently the two parties in the lawsuit could never reach a settlement agreement so it is going to court:

Driving instructor is suing 'Borat' film company

A Baltimore driving instructor joins a lineup of unwitting "actors" suing the producers of the 2006 hit comedy film Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan.

Michael Psenicska says he attempted to settle out of court before recently filing a lawsuit.

The owner of the Perry Hall Driving School says he was paid US$500 to give star Sacha Baron Cohen a driving lesson.

The lesson was part of a supposed documentary on the integration of immigrants into American culture.

During the lesson, Cohen drove the wrong way down a residential street, consumed alcohol, yelled insults at other drivers and propositioned pedestrians.

Psenicska is seeking US$400,000 for being misled about the nature of the film and for emotional damage suffered as a result
