Jon Stewart Mocks Media Shock: Obama "Bowling For Votes!"

Last night on "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart had fun with the news that Barack Obama had gone bowling — and the way that news was conveyed.

Stewart mocked the media covering of Barack's "bowling for votes" as huge news — and he singled out anchors John King, Chris Matthews, Sean Hannity, Dan Abrams, Campbell Brown, and Joe Scarborough.

Stewart also joked about Obama's bowling ability (or lack thereof) undermining his national security credentials, imagining this scenario: "I will tell you where I've hidden the nuclear device if you can pick up this 7-10 split!"

At least it shows he has better things to do like work and spend time with his kids and family. So hes not good at bowling, shows true sprtsmenship when your willing to do something infront of millions and know your gonna make a a** out of yourself. Speaks for how good and well rounded he is.

Bill Clinton went bowling in Harlem a couple of years ago when Harlem Lanes opened on 125th Street (in the space of the old Savoy Ballroom, I think). He got some good press coverage at the time because he clearly had lost weight and looked good.

I wonder what his score was? Did he beat 37?

I much more enjoyed Stewart's "mocking" of the media coverage of Obama camps "hillary should quit" before people finish voting spin.....

I think Barack's bowling episode said a lot about his phony attempt to connect with blue collar workers. In the first place, why did he show up at a bowling alley in a white shirt, tie, and suit?

Ok, so here's the scenario. Barack and Hillary tie [or don't win] going into the convention. Howard Dean screams that they must flip a coin to decide who gets to choose the manner in which a candidate will be selected. Hillary wins the coin toss [using NFL rules]. She chooses bowling one game...winner take all. End of story.

"why?" you might ask, well in connecticut they play not only thr largest target pins, which are called standard size that obama sucks at with the 37 but we also have a smaller regional pin size bowling here called duck pin. they look like standard pins but are about a third the size. in other new england states centering around massachusetts they have a variant that's much much harder, called candlestick bowling which uses 16" tall about 2" in diameter cylindrical pins that loook like candles. as in duck pins, candlestick uses a much smaller 2-4 lb wooden ball with no holes. lemmetellya those buggers are hard to hit.

LMAO, I'm from Massachusetts and basketball WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more popular than Bowling. Now if he had put on a Yankees cap, then maybe just maybe Obama could lose the most liberal state in the nation. Even then, it would take McCain kissing the Green Monster daily to accomplish that.

I'm originally from Connecticut, and they show candlestick bowling (from Massachusetts) on TV!
If Obama goes anywhere in Southern New England and refers to a grinder as a "sub" or "hero", he can forget about the yankee vote!

I have been a fan for years and over those years wouldn't miss it for anything. But lately it's become harder and harder to watch.
