Stewart Obama Bowling

Last night on "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart had fun with the news that Barack Obama had gone bowling — and the way that news was conveyed.

Stewart mocked the media covering of Barack's "bowling for votes" as huge news — and he singled out anchors John King, Chris Matthews, Sean Hannity, Dan Abrams, Campbell Brown, and Joe Scarborough.

Stewart also joked about Obama's bowling ability (or lack thereof) undermining his national security credentials, imagining this scenario: "I will tell you where I've hidden the nuclear device if you can pick up this 7-10 split!"

Wow! I couldn't believe all the coverage by the cables of Obama's bowling. I mean, isn't there anything else happening in the world? And do they think we should vote for the guy that bowls best? Pretty stupid and inane coverage.

If Obama doesn't want this type of coverage, then he shouldn't go for those photo ops. If it is put out there, you can guarantee you will see it either on cable news on in print. Of course, if being a good bowler was a prerequisite for being president, Obama would be long gone. I cannot comment on his milking skills.

This was awesome. No wonder why there's a bowling alley in the WH...

Jon, funny as usual. He's going to have to find more things to put down when ol' Dubya leaves office. Barack might give a little bit of material (as President), but no where near what dumbass did. Hopefully he'll find something that will humor the masses. It's going to get rough before it gets better. God himself couldn't straighten the mess we have now. But Barack will put us on the a path to better days, just like FDR did. In the future, everybody that didn't vote for Barack will be complaining like crazy, but I have a strong feeling these fat, lazy people would complain anyway. Some people just can't be content. It will be hard. We're going to have to put down the iPods and the extra waffles and roll our sleeves up to rebuild this country. This won't hurt the rich though. It never does. But you shouldn't let that bother you. Barack Obama, the next President of the United States of America. May god bless!

Is it still cool if i I just pop my iPod into its case? Rather than put it down? I don't want to trip on my cord in the Brave New World. And honestly, I'll work harder if I can have some good beats to wash down my waffles.

Once again Jon makes me both happy and sad. Happy, because he's laugh out loud funny, sad because those really are our journalists that really are that stupid and what's worse? Many Americans watch the stupid journalists and actually use that to make up their mind about issues. Ugh.

It's so easy for the Daily Show writers to make jokes these times. The media are simply moronic.
