The one and only Madonna confesses in Elle's May issue that hubby Guy satisfies her -- at least in bed. Madge has a song on her new album Hardy Candy, in which she says, "Sex with you is incredible." The Elle interviewer asked the obvious: Is she singing about Guy? "Absolutely," Madonna's quoted as saying. "Sex with Guy is incredible ... And surprise, surprise, it's his favorite song on the album. Actually, maybe it's not his favorite song, but it's definitely his favorite line."

Of course, none of this can actually be believed because Madonna's in selling mode, and in that mode everything is suspect. For all anyone really knows, Madge could be singing about sex with herself. But unless she has a guest appearance on The Moment of Truth, we'll never get to ask.

Does anyone else think that Madonna is beginning to resemble Marlene Dietrich? She tried to keep her sex symbol persona viable until she was in her 80's. Had herself sewn into tight sequin dresses and insisted on singing torch songs. Truly pathetic.

New single has biggest one week sales for a digital track since the establishment of the Digital Tracks Sales Chart

Madonna has done it again. Nielsen SoundScan, the firm that measures actual sales of music in North America, has revealed today that "4 Minutes," the first single from Madonna"s forthcoming album, Hard Candy, has debuted at #1 on the Digital Tracks Sales Chart with the highest one week total sales since the establishment of the chart in 2005. This follows the news a week ago that "4 Minutes" became the first single to debut at #1 on the CHR chart in the history of BDS in Canada.

"4 Minutes" was co-written by Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Timberlake also co-produced the track with Timbaland and performs vocals with Madonna. Hard Candy will be released in North America on Tuesday, April 29, 2008. The album features Justin Timberlake on multiple tracks and production by Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate "Danja" Hills.

The only thing Madonna cares about is Madonnna. It's her favorite subject. And bytheway, her new single stinks! Her prime is over and she wants to stay relevant at 5o yrs young. Please, I heard she no longer sings like a virgin. How come? I could see a lady old enough to be a grandmother singing that all the time.

That's a shame if I ever heard one. The one thing she's brillant at is marketing. And I'm getting sick of the blitz as you so rightly callled it. She's everywhere, but the biggest kick in the nuts was when she was on the cover of the "green" issue of Vantity Far

Madonna is perhaps the shrewdest businesswoman in the history of music. She has constantly stayed on the edge of popular music, reinvented herself almost on every album, sold herself as dominatrix/whore/virgin over and over again, and has turned a mediocre to poor voice into an empire.

I'd let her run my business a heartbeat!

It's amazing that she was a contemporary of acts like Culture Club, and she's outlasted everyone from the early 80s by her cunning alone.

I'm impressed but never been a fan of hers.
