John McCain Calls Heidi Montag A "Talented Actress"

John McCain joined Joe Scarborough on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" Thursday and joked about yesterday's Us revelation that "The Hills" star Heidi Montag supports McCain for president. Today McCain showed he has no clue who she is, but is being a sport about the whole situation. He called the reality star and wannabe singer a "talented actress" while laughing. Lest one think he doesn't take his celebrity endorsements seriously, however, McCain then touted those of Clint Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone and Jon Voight.

As someone within a few years of McCain I can understand his clueless response regarding Heidi Montag - heres how it is for an almost 70 year old - The Weather Channel is the most exciting show on TV followed closely by Lawrence Welk reruns, looking at young blue eyed blonds with huge melons is a health hazzard, change may be welcome by young folks but its anathema to seniors, new technology is sure exciting unfortunately it has to be relearned every day for short term memory challanged oldsters, and any 70 year old who thinks he can be an effective president is well into his second childhood
