Lieberman Slams Obama On Fox News

Firedoglake highlights these comments on Wednesday by Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) during an appearance on Fox News:

LIEBERMAN: Well, I think that - let me say generally that Sen. Obama doesn't come to this debate with a lot of credibility. Basically on the question of Iraq, John McCain has had the guts to stand out on his own arguing for what he thought was right. And it turned out that he was right about the surge working to improve conditions in Iraq.

If we did what Sen. Obama wanted us to do last year, Al-Qaeda in Iran would be in control of Iraq today. The whole Middle East would be in turmoil and American security and credibility would be jeopardized.

On the specific question of the 100 years, I think that's an unfortunate example of the way Sen. Obama has used it, of playing political gotcha with a national security question.

This is unbelievable, from LIEbermann, is he using the Ray Charles prespective and view, regarding Iraq and the Middel East. That whole region is turmoil, Afganistan, Iran, Israel, Gaza, Palestein, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, these are WAR ZONES. Al Qaeda, is in Iraq because we invited them by invading a Muslim (Arabic country). I feel less safe knowing we have given generations of Muslims reasons to hate us. The surge is not working, That's a LIE(bermann), you can't go the store safely in Iraq to by eggs and if is working (The Surge) Senator take your grand kids on hoilday to Iraq (there's plenty of sand and maybe some sandy beaches). Maybe in way a we were blessed and lucky he wasn't elelcted Vice President. The surge worked (Senator McCain - Joe's puppet master) in South Korea, you can walk the streets, go the store and McDonalds, without the fear of a suicide bomber, but when you need bullet proof vest, loaded rifle's, tanks, and full combat gear in Iraq the surge is not working.Sir. Senator Obama would not lie like this to the American People, integrity, character, truthfullness, honesty.

It is unfortunate that Lieberman's sold out to the Republicans- he would definitely end up in a McCain cabinet. They both are misguided. You wanna hate them, then you must suffer walking around with that in you. Me, I'm voting democrat, period. What really makes me sick is how the anti-Semites come crawling out of the woodwork every chance they can get- same as the other racists, homophobes, and sexists- all more likely to be Republicans and supposedly "religious."

Of Course Leiberman would slam Obama. McCain's Charlie Black works for Clinton's Mark Penn. Fox's Murdock held a fund raiser for Clinton and Fox's Hannity bashes Obama day and night 4 hours per day; has done every day for 3 weeks; and Lieberman works for McCain.

Plus Clinton has praised McCain; trashed Obama and is running a Lieberman-type campaign.

They are all working together against Obama.

I hope Obama beats them all; but good!!!
