Dave Letterman has gone green this week by recycling monologue jokes from just one night earlier. Wednesday Dave told some filler jokes about spring in New York and McCain's age and Thursday night he spouted out the exact same jokes. He was nice enough to re-word the spring joke for the second telling, but he didn't change a thing about his McCain joke, right down to the tongue-out-of-the-mouth gag that had the audience in stitches. Either Dave's writers are settling a bet to see if they can get away with telling the same jokes two nights in a row, or they're getting just plain lazy. Either way, it might be time to step up the game, Dave.
