Must See April Four
Kicking off this week's must see videos is the clip that's blowing up on YouTube. During his match at the Sony Ericsson Open, Russian tennis player Mikhail Youzhny took poor sportsmanship to a whole new level when he smashed his racket against his face a few times after losing a point, resulting in a massive head wound that looked like something out of a horror movie. Not only did he scare the heck out of any kids watching, but he held up the game for several minutes so that someone could tend to his bloody face. What a jerk.

The season finale of Fox's "Moment of Truth" aired this week and viewers were treated to a much needed update on the season's contestants. And if you're wondering how a marriage could recover from the husband's revelation that he slept with his friend's wife, there's actually a really simple solution. Find out at the end of the video.

In this next clip from "America's Next Top Model," Tyra rewords the classic lyric "If I can make it there, I'll make it anywhere" to the overwhelmingly negative "If you can't make it here, you can't make it anywhere," giving these girls who have left their hometowns and moved to New York to chase their dreams such a wonderful sense of optimism and hope. But even more disturbing is the fact that the aspiring models cheer this pessimistic message. Oh well, guess they don't know the difference.

Jay Leno was in the hot seat this week after making gay jokes with Ryan Phillippe, but he should really be condemned for his awful jokes. In the following clip, Leno blindsides his audience with a joke so vague they can't figure out if he's delivered the punchline or is still setting it up. But hey, at least he's not retelling jokes from the night before (I'm looking at you, Letterman).

And finally this week, what do you get when you slow down a 1999 Mac commercial featuring Jeff Goldblum? Hilarity. Drunken hilarity.

It wouldn't surprise me if Mr. Goldblum sued HuffPo, and he would probably have a case. He is NOT drunk, as the headline suggests. Unless HuffPo's legal department has signed off on this one, I would change/delete that headline STAT.

Jay Leno's torture joke was funny enough, and even better, highlights America's worst foreign policy error. Good job, Jay.

I agree. I'm very disappointed in this article. Jeff Goldblum simply doesn't deserve this smear.

That's what I thought... when I clicked on this I thought.. "Jeff Goldblum drunk???" Huffpo.. .better change your headline quickly. I'd be furious if I was him and saw this b.s....

I said the exact same thing about misleading headline and the strong possibility of Goldblum's lawyer giving them a call the other night but HuffPo chose not to print it.

People who live in glass houses really shouldn't throw stones.

Rather than acting like a pack of rabid dogs tearing a rabbit all to hell, wouldn't it be nice to appreciate (or at least understand) the humanity of the words acts of each other. After all, we have all been there in one form or another, haven't we?
All is lesson.

Most amazing about the show "Moment of Truth" is that Fox thinks it perfectly OK to air the show right before American Idol, which draws millions of young teen viewers. I guess a little pre A.I.warmup of how to best humiliate your spouse on national television is good for America's youth.
I'm sure the advertisers are giggling with glee.

Only the clip from "Moment of Truth" had any beautiful irony...He's a scumbag, that's the point.

After it is clear that even he knows he's a scumbag he could use the prize money on self-improvement or marriage counseling. Instead he becomes the ultimate "men are pigs" stereotype that every decent guy has to overcome & buys his wife a boob job.

Fox entertainment & Fox news both have no real value. If not for sports who would watch Fox?

This is stupid, tabloid crap, that isn't worth the term journalism -- come on Ariana....

The tennis clip is typical of sportscasters that don't what the hell they're talking about - I've been there in two aspects professionally, as an athlete and as an Athletic Trainer. The guy hit himself with the strings in an intense moment of frustration in a solo, very tense game -- most people can't relate to performing in front of a dozen people let alone thousands that can & will turn on an athlete in a second.

Furthermore, the face or scalp is the most highly vascularized part of the body, it doesn't take much of a cut to bleed like crazy - any man that has nick himself saving knows that.

AS far as the Jeff Goldblum clip, it's slowed down for #$%#%$. It's fantasy.I didn't even bother allowing the other scripts to run to watch the two clips and the only reason I took the time to write this is I've wanted to rant about ignorant sportscasters forever and I want someone to know that this kind of crap is NOT journalism --- do you hear me Ms Huffington!

I don't know ProFromOre, I like watching some of these clips every week just to remind myself why I don't watch television anymore. I find it telling that the only thing I find of any value here (fleeting comedic value) was a modified commercial from 9 years ago. That Goldblum clip and the tennis clip were the two I found "watch-worthy" this week. Speaking of the tennis clip... Any children who may have been scared by this guy's behavior really need to toughen up. They got a long way to go.

I made the mistake of watching a "moment of truth" clip once and my I.Q. dropped 30 points via osmosis. Even so it was well above average, and more importantly, I learned from my mistake. It still took a lot of time to get the taste of rusty metal from the roof of my mouth.

Tyra Banks is a model right? So unless she's walking around wearing clothes that no one really buys she's just wasting everyone's time. No need to watch.

For Leno I attribute the old saying from Michael O'Donahue... "anything THAT popular CAN'T be good". Once again, no need to watch.

I'm thinking maybe the tennis dude accidentally hit himself with the frame of the racquet. I couldn't call him a jerk based solely on that clip.
