Chelsea Clinton Tells Press What She Will (And Won't) Answer

Chelsea Clinton made it clear yesterday that while she gladly takes questions from voters, she'd like to keep the focus on her mother's policies, and little else.

During a stop at Marshall University, her second in West Virginia, Clinton was asked why she, as a public figure, felt she could "pick and choose" which questions she answers.

We used to love the clinton's and that included her too.

Just like Hillary though the more we got to know her the more we hold our nose.

Personally, I don't get the whole family members co-campaigning act - on both sides of the primary pond - it smacks too much of dynastic BS, but judging from the full article I'd say she handled herself pretty well. And it's fair that she shouldn't have to answer questions about that dress, mainly because no one should care about that dress in the first place. And yes, I support Obama.

The value of the dollar is the lowest in my lifetime and Barack Obama has no plan at all about this crisis. Barack Obama wants to redeploy our troops from Iraq, ostensibly, just as publically stated by his campaign national security advisor Zbigniew Brezenski (of Mujahadeen training fame); but will Pakistan be next? Iran?

If you all want to embarrass Chelsea Clinton it tells me more about Obamarama supporters than I would like to know. The lifetime work that Bill Clinton has dedicated much of his life to helping and serving those in need, cannot be put into $'s.

Isn't it important to learn to say NO. No a person does not have to answer the door - answer the questions of the solicitor on the phone. No - one does not have to follow the stranger or help the stranger do anything. No one should not trust any adult.

Don't you think it is inappropriate to ask any child about the infidelity of her father? What is the purpose of asking Chelsea these questions? She can refuse to answer any question put to her. She should answer all reasonable questions. She seems to be doing so. I think she's handling this appropriately.

I felt sorry for Chelsea when she was asked the question about Monica Lewinsky because I am sure that whole episode was a very trying and difficult time for her. However it's 10 years later now;she's a grown woman and she shouldn't expect to be shielded anymore from tough questions. She shouldn't be campaigning if she was not prepared to answer awkward or embarrassing questions.

Nina Totenberg of NPR was saying on a PBS show this afternoon, If Obama is winning in Pensylvenia as some claims, there is no sign of it, actually Hillary is ahead a lot so far !
