Hillary Clinton Asks Obama Pledged Delegates In North Dakota To Switch

Sen. Hillary Clinton made a blunt appeal to North Dakota delegates to switch their support to her, despite the fact that Sen. Barack Obama handily defeated her in the state's caucus in February.

In an indication of how tense the battle has become for each Democratic delegate, Obama abandoned the campaign trail in Pennsylvania and scooted to North Dakota for the state party's annual dinner last night, despite the fact that he's already won 14 of the state's 21 delegates as well as six of the state's seven superdelegates.

This will send a signal to superdelegates that the Clintons have no shame. They'd rather go out as fools than with some class. It makes you wonder just WHY she wants to get in the WH so bad? She's acting like a junkie or a bad gambler trying to avoid broken legs from a loan shark. And who does she owe? What did she promise people if she won? With the tax returns, you have to wonder if the Clintons loose what will happen to them? Will they or the ones they are beholden to strike back at Obama if he becomes President?

The Clintons have made $109 million since they left the White House the last time. Believe me, they have favors to repay. They didn't get all that money being good looking and smart - they got it because people believed they'd be back in the White House and that money was an investment in being the new Blackwater or Halliburton.

The following votes count: big states, non-caucus states, the states that hillary won. Basically, only the votes in favor of hillary count. Kind of reminds you of how Saddam had elections in Iraq? Show up and vote for Saddam, or stay home.

This is election fraud plain and simple. She is trying to make the votes of tens of thousands and perhaps millions ultimately irrelevent. She has found a loophole that would allow her to steal this election......STEAL IT. I would think after Al Gore we as democrats would not like the concept of fraudulent elections but I guess Clinton supporters are LIKE her and don't care how she wins.
It's disgusting and it should make YOU as an american tax payer or as a democrat FURIOUS that a candidate would try and override our voting power as members of this party.

So in other words, the people of North Dakota went to the polls and elected delegates to the National convention who were charged with representing their wishes - and Hillary thinks these delegates should decide they're not going to represent those voters. She wants those delegates to practice the same lying, cheating, leveraging politics that Hillary represents.

All I can say is - Randi Rhodes may be a little course, but she's fundamentally correct.

So if she is all for being able to change your mind - then why would she or Bill be upset even if Bill Richardson did tell them in a past conversation that he would endorse Hillary and then change his mind? (I don't believe he did tell them that, because his delay in endorsing would only suggest that he didn't want to endorse Hillary) but if he was for her in the beginning and then changed his mind later - why do they act as if that is comparable to Judas identifying Christ with a kiss to be crucified later? If she is encouraging people to change their minds, it only makes sense that it may work both ways.

You know, this is a very apt example of that. But, as we know what good for other is not good for Hillary. What Hillary can do, others cannot. What Hillary can say, others cannot. I'm hoping this will bury Clinton. From what I understand the "pledged" delegates are the very faithful that won't turn against their nominee. I don't know if it's against party rules officially or not, but it sure is unethical that's for sure.

Clinton's desperation is becoming more and more apparent and I hope this turns many of the super delegates toward Obama.

And since hillary does not even think that caucuses matter, and the race will be decided at the convention by supers who will vote for her, why is she wasting her time showing up in ND?

Caucuses have a distinct purpose - to measure not only the breadth of a candidate's support, but also the depth of it. It measures passion. So if Hillary's supporters really don't care that much and Obama's do, then he wins caucuses and she doesn't.

If Hillary doesn't like the rules, she just ignores them and acts like they don't apply to her. Most megalomanics are like that.
