Political Radar:

Sen. Hillary Clinton made a blunt appeal to North Dakota delegates to switch their support to her, despite the fact that Sen. Barack Obama handily defeated her in the state's caucus in February.

In an indication of how tense the battle has become for each Democratic delegate, Obama abandoned the campaign trail in Pennsylvania and scooted to North Dakota for the state party's annual dinner last night, despite the fact that he's already won 14 of the state's 21 delegates as well as six of the state's seven superdelegates.

Talk about chutzpah! This woman has balls of steel - and I don't mean that as a compliment! Is she losing her sanity??? I'm beginning to wonder!

Actually, those balls USED to belong to Bill. But first she took one back when he was President and then Chelsea took the other one when she said her Mom would make a better President than her Dad.

Hillary Speak

"I am here tonight because I am seeking your support,"

Translation, "I am here tonight because I wan't you to ingnore the will of the people."

Clinton's appeal to Obama delegates in ND is a media manipulation ploy. There is no chance that those delegates, who are chosen because of their solid support for their candidate, will bolt. BUT, this may well be the story that gets chewed on during the Sunday morning TV gab fest rather than Clinton's shrinking lead in PA.

This on Senator Clintons part is, the Hail Mary pass of all Hail Mary passes.

No...her ultimate Hail Mary pass will be when she just comes out and says what she has been hinting at for quite awhile now, "Don't vote for Obama because he is black and can't win."

I believe there is a lot of truth to that. Does she really want people talking about her taxes, her shrinking lead in PA, Mark Penn's Columbia problem, her most current absurd false and un-vetted tale......

Hillary wants people to forget about the Mark Penn Columbia problem. The media is not really talking about it. She released her tax returns to hide it as well. If Pennsylvania finds out what Penn did. She will be dog meat.

HOW CAN THIS WOMAN LIVE WITH HERSELF

Her entire remaining argument centers around the fact that EVERY voter must be heard, including the last 10 primaries and MI and FL. But then she tries to tell delegates who represent HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of voters to disregard the people and vote for her anyway?

Wouldn't that be disenfranchising ND voters?

I don't get it.

Which is it, Hypocrite?

Watching this campaign, all I continually ask is how many ways are there to end one's political career?

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 09:28 PM on 04/05/2008

Hillary is in the death throes of her political career. She will NEVER be able to recover from the damage she has done to herself.

I guess she figured it was worth the gamble.

Okay, Hillbots - please try to defend this action by Ms. Clinton. I would like to read the spin that you might care to share with morally ethical real Democrats?

From ABCNews Article:

"Sen.

The two candidates also will battle for votes tonight in Butte, Mont., when Democrats there hold their annual dinner. The Montana primary, which offers only a handful of delegates, is scheduled for June.

Clinton made it clear to North Dakota Democrats last night that she believes there is no such thing as a pledged delegate and highlighted that stubborn streak in her appeal for delegates to switch from Obama to her when the Democratic national party holds its nominating convention this August.

I am here tonight because I am seeking your support," Clinton said, adding that she never gives up..."

SAD, SAD, SAD........

These are signs of a very, very sick person.

That's not being bright, Cookie. That's the sign of someone showing "what they really stand for."

It's the real Hillary now appearing, even to many people who supported her as late as today, for what they believed were the right reasons.

Many Americans will not be foolish enough to fall for it as "being bright," after this latest stunt. You'll see.

So caucuses are invalid, but this is? She is a monster. I sort of understand why some folks would have supported her in the early part of the campaign, but not in the last few months and certainly not now.

This has everything to do with Pennsylvania and little to do with North Dakota. She caused Obama to abandon his campaigning in Penn. to come guard votes he'd already won. Moreover, there may be some element in PA that is turned on my this sort of lawlessness. Who knows. And what does Hillary care if she pisses off Obama's ND delegates, what are they going to do? Not vote for her?

Good for Obama for keeping a cool head about the whole thing. All I can say is "Bloomberg for Senate."

If there is no such thing as pledged delegates, then all committed super delegates should just move on over to Obama where they are recognized and will be greeted with open arms.

This woman has lost her mind and she is getting on my nerves already.

Hillary, you have never been POOR!

So Hillary, would you consider it fair if Obama told the Michigan and Florida "delegates" that they are under no obligation to vote "the will of the people"? Would you like it if he hit them all up, then allowed them to be counted? Hypocritical Shillary! Just go away already!

I am baffle by her audacity!! Does she not have any scrupules? Her win at all cost attitude will cost the Democratic Party a great deal. I truly think she needs to be thrown out of the party at this point. Her claims that caucases are undemocratic and blames Obama for her loosing them is absurd as he did not all of the sudden make these rules, he is just following the rules and by god you Hillary fans must be absolutely blind to her tactics. Even if you want her nominated, would you not want her to do so with dignity. I wanted her to get a chance to get a the presidential ticket, now I have changed my mind totally.
She needs to take all her millions and go live in the Cayman Island with Bill. My god, she will destroy you and your family for what she deems her right to be the first woman elected President. I am not foolish enough to put on blinders to vote for anyone and those of you that are Hillary fans seems blinded. If she willing to say and do anything to get your vote, she must be willing to sell you down the tube to make herself look good too. THINK BEFORE YOU ACT

rabprevent,
I too am amazed by nearly everything she says and does these days. But, who looks most presidential in all of this? It isn't Hillary. Obama, doesn't criticize her, he goes after McCain. I don't believe she will be around much longer. It looks like PA will be close, NC will be a blowout and IN will end up with Obama. She won't have enough money to continue to the convention unless she keeps making loans to her campaign.

It's really interesting that HRC wants the Obama's pledged delegates to vote for her but she insists on staying in the race until all the states have voted so as not to disenfranchise voters. I'm sure she knows too that in the past, nominees have been declared before all the primaries were held. If she had won after super Tuesday, would she care about MI and FL and all the other states that hadn't voted yet?

Next, Hillary will be seen on bended knees, crying out to the Obama delegates, to help her win the nomination. She has been quite the drama queen, mocking Obama and the way he talks, shedding tears strategically before a primary, acting outraged with her "shame on you Barack Obama" speech, embellishing her so called experienced, and lying about ducking to avoid sniper fire, which sounded like some movie.

Oh that Hillary, deserves an Oscar!

But she will not have the support of a single member of the Congress. She has made an awful lot of enemies with her vengeful campaigning and said some things that she cannot take back. And those members of Congress won't forget what she has said and done.
