Hillary Clinton: "It Is Not A Coronation"

At a town hall in Eugene, OR yesterday, Hillary Clinton was asked by man in audience who is supporting Obama whether her attacks on Obama were hurting the Democratic Party....

Clinton concluded, "Elections are about choices, and you are supposed to present your case and you're supposed to critique the other case. That is what you do in an election. It is not a coronation. It is a contest. This country is worth fighting for, and I am going to fight for it. I'd rather you be involved and not for me than to be apathetic and not involved."

Ever since she and Bill realized, after Iowa, that the crown she coveted, that the dynastic succession he so coveted, was not to be her diamond tiara, laced with the crown jewels of the Clinton presidency, she has shown her true colors.They are murky black, laced with lies, over and over.

She denies she ever thought she would waltz right into the White House, wearing said tiara, by wanting to appear as if she is just one little common man/ girl, who wants to be president.

She is touted as being intelligent and smart. Nothing she has done since she decided to have "fun" and go negative, has shown she is smart. What I see is a devious "smartness" that employs lies, smearing of the opponent"s religion, smearing her opponent's race.

and resorting to the most outright and unforgiveable lies ever to have taken place in any primary. She has even resorted to elevating the Republican candidate over the Democrat.

She is not smart. She is simply a task oriented, memorizor of facts, which she will distort for her own gain. This she was observed to have done when she was twenty seven years old. Seems she has a personality disorder. Lying is taken as a way of life and inconsequential to the point where she can make hearty har jokes about the lie on the Leno show. Laugh it up Hillary. You, and Bill, and Chelsea are a family of liars. Born and bred liars, goi;;ng way back.

Oh yes do I remember the corornation with the Katie Courid statement. That was my first clue that I could not on any circumstances vote for ole Hillary. Her ego in that interview reminded me so much of guess who MR BUSH and his ego. OMG No I don't want another one with such a ego that she just thinks she is entitled and does not have to answer to anyone. Twice she said that line WELL I WILL BE. The coronation ended when Obama wiped the floor with Clinton in Iowa and then again in South Carolina.

I think it is time that we realize that this is not a contest between two fine candidates and is in fact become a contest between an intelligent person and someone who should be institutionalized for her own sake and the benefit of society as a whole. Hillary Clinton is a very dangerous person and hopefully she will never be in a position to inflict on the nation what her poisonous campaign has unleashed on the democratic party.

Nice of her to deny it but coronation is exactly what HRC was counting on. Frankly, is seems she has thrown a tantrum because it hasn't worked out that way. She has constantly lied about herself and about Obama and she has even essentially endorsed McCain over Obama. And McCain would win any argument on"experience" so I don't get her point, except if it is to tell more whoppers later.

It is odd that Hillary declares that the choice of a nominee for the presidency is "not a coronation," because one would think the comment applies to herself. She was the inevitable candidate, the one who was primed to succeed Bill, the one with "35 years" of executive experience, the one who sees Obama as a usurper of her entitlement to the Oval Office ("he can't win"). Indeed, I agree: it is not a coronation. Sorry, Hillary.
