Hillary Clinton: "It Is Not A Coronation"

At a town hall in Eugene, OR yesterday, Hillary Clinton was asked by man in audience who is supporting Obama whether her attacks on Obama were hurting the Democratic Party....

Clinton concluded, "Elections are about choices, and you are supposed to present your case and you're supposed to critique the other case. That is what you do in an election. It is not a coronation. It is a contest. This country is worth fighting for, and I am going to fight for it. I'd rather you be involved and not for me than to be apathetic and not involved."

Right on Hillary. The negativity is coming from the Obama crowd. They don't seem to understand differences of opinion without getting nasty and snide. Obama was the one who talked about a positive campaign and has done very little to adhere to that credo. Anyone who had even half of the attacks that Hillary has had from the media and the Obama camp would have folded long ago. She is absolutely the strongest candidate in the race. Her strength scares them to death, and that's why the calls for her to quit. You are to be admired for continuing, not condemned.

Obama is going to have a lead in the pledged delegates of at least 150, that is 5%, when this primary season is done.

Explain how the Supers can reverse that lead without launching a massive revolt within the party?

Because if you cannot explain how that would be possible, then it is irresponsible of Clinton to remine in the contest.

But there is the question: How can the Supers reverse Obama's win in pledged without causing a huge revolt in the party?

She is such a role model that I have taught my grandchildren that it is OK to lie re[eatedly, to get what you want, and that it is OK to lie and smear anyone who gets in the way of getting what you wantm, including racist remarks. That seems to be what she taught her own daughter so using that a role model, I can assume you would teach your children that this type of deceit is just fine and dandy, no matter what the preacher teaches in your church.

Would you teach your children and your grandchildren to navigate life that way? Hilary serously needs to think BEFORE she speaks. Thats exactly what she acted like when no one knew who Barack Obama was. She acted like it was destiny just a matter of waiting to be crowned and now she is saying its not a coronation thats NOT what the voter asked. Yes but when Obama acts this way he is called arrogant or cocky. The reason why Hilary's approach doesnt endear me to her is that she is doing what she can to UNDERMINE voters. This is what she is doing when she is soliciting Obama's PLEDGE delegates. There is a difference between competing using a set of implied rules which is what Obama did VS competing using sneaky and illegitmate rules. This is a democracy that means that the will of the people should count for something and I'm not talking about the will of Floridians and Michiganians who's representative did not follow the rules. Imagine if she was in the lead in states won, pledge delegates and poular votes would she be happy if someone came and took it from her with the argument that she is unelectable my guess is NO.
