David Vitter Car Crash: Watch The Video

Sen. David Vitter has been having a rough week, and it's only Monday. First, he was listed as a potential witness in the trial of former D.C. Madam Deborah Palfrey. Then, he attempted to scoot out of a town hall forum to avoid questions from the press about his alleged relationship with Palfrey's escorts. The Gonzales Weekly Citizen reports:

A car carrying U.S. Sen. David Vitter ran into a No Parking sign in the Gonzales Police Department parking lot Monday morning as the senator was attempting to evade members of the media, including the Gonzales Weekly Citizen, following a Town Hall forum event at Gonzales City Hall.

No one was injured in the incident, but the car - in which Vitter was a passenger - sped away from the scene with visible, but light damage following the wreck.

I almost attended that town hall meeting. Sorry now that I missed it. I am a life long resident of Baton Rouge and a life long anti-republican. I appreciated the chuckle I got from this as Vitter campaigned with such a haughty, holier-than-thou attitude. Will be happy to see tha backside of him.

As much as being a "witness" is going to hamper his re-election bid. never allow your name to be entered into any madame's book regardless of what she says - that is simply not very intuitive - even as a "junior" senator. He should have known that no good would come of that relationship!
