David Vitter Car Crash: Watch The Video

Sen. David Vitter has been having a rough week, and it's only Monday. First, he was listed as a potential witness in the trial of former D.C. Madam Deborah Palfrey. Then, he attempted to scoot out of a town hall forum to avoid questions from the press about his alleged relationship with Palfrey's escorts. The Gonzales Weekly Citizen reports:

A car carrying U.S. Sen. David Vitter ran into a No Parking sign in the Gonzales Police Department parking lot Monday morning as the senator was attempting to evade members of the media, including the Gonzales Weekly Citizen, following a Town Hall forum event at Gonzales City Hall.

No one was injured in the incident, but the car - in which Vitter was a passenger - sped away from the scene with visible, but light damage following the wreck.

Vitter never ceases to amuse. We pay the man to be a Senator, and he throws in the clown act for FREE!

As it turns out (and you can see in the video) Vitter was not driving. He had a driver. I am from Louisiana and many of us are embarrassed by his representation. He comes from a district that elected Bobby Jindal and Bob Livingston and supported David Duke. No one I know knows anything about Bobby Jindal's voting record and inaffectiveness in Congress. We have a good candidate in Gilda Reed who is running for Jindal's old Congressional seat, but of course she is being out spent by the Republican candidate who is a Bush clone. If she was in Congress not only would she help the people in Louisiana, but she would help the people in the rest of the country who always have to go up against the Jindals and Vitters and Bob Livingstons of Louisiana. You can Google Gilda Reed to send her money. I hope I was not inappropriate in this post. But I think that not only do some of the people down here not represent us, they do not represent you.
