Brunettes Bag More Billionaires

It's official, if you're a brunette like Carla Bruni, you're more likely to marry a successful man than your blonde counterparts. Experts at LOVE@LYCOS, the dating channel of Lycos.co.uk analysed the WAG's hair colour of the world's top 100 billionaires to determine if there is a predominant hair colour wealthy men seen to go for. The majority by a long way were brunettes, with 62% of billionaires marrying women with brown hair.

The results went on to show that fair haired ladies come in a poor second with only 22% of the world's top billionaires marrying blondes. Women with black hair lag behind in third place, enticing on 16% of the world's wealthiest, whilst carrot-tops come in last.

There are few natural blonds by adulthood as hair darkens with age. One has to question why others would bleach their hair to appear to be blond. Could it be due to the old Clairol commercial asking if "blonds have more fun"? That has certainly become ingrained in the culture. Then there are the jokes about being able to find them in the dark, etc. Most women don't dye their hair a brown color, so perhaps some men prefer women who aren't so silly as to put cancer causing aniline dyes developed from coal tar on their scalps once a month of more. Just a thought.

As a happily married brunette, I'll look forward to my husband earning his first billion!

By the way, my husband does say (in response o dadw5boys comment above) that he was always drawn to brunettes in his teens and twenties because he has memories of the blonde girls being the meanest toward him when he was a young boy. Of course, we do have blonde friends who are lovely people so this is not a blanket anti blonde smear.

Duh? Ok now this is an example of drawing a conclusion from raw data and then assuming it represents some cultural phenomenom. Statistically brunettes outnumber blondes. Blondes out number those with naturally black hair, and finally red hair is the least prevelant in nature...s­o of course statistically brunnetts bag more billionaires, becuase statistically there are just more of them.

Regarding the picture of Gates: he has quite a reputation in Vegas, with the really expensive prostitutes. I guess when you have as much dough as he does, your wife is willing to make accomodations.

Could it be that blondes do more damage to these men when they are young and the guys are now gun shy when it comes to blondes ?
