Sean Penn Divorce

After filing for a divorce from Sean Penn December 21 citing irreconcilable differences, Robin Wright Penn's case has been dismissed, Extra reports.

Robin Wright Penn divorce case against Sean Penn was dismissed. Court officials tell "Extra" that a dismissal was filed and granted on Tuesday, April 8th.

"Extra" reported earlier that the separated couple was seen last night in San Francisco at an Eddie Vedder concert where Penn dedicated a song to his estranged wife on stage in honor of her birthday.

The Hollywood couple announced their split last December after 11 years of marriage.

Sean originally filed divorce papers in Marin County December 7, his attorney Mindy Ross told Usmagazine.com, but the petition was dismissed December 18. Wright Penn followed up with the papers on the 21st, the case that was now also dismissed

The dismal comes just over a month after Penn made the rounds at post-Oscar bashes with model Petra Nemcova, best known for surviving the tsunami. The pair hit up Elton John's AIDS fundraiser together, posing on the red carpet for photos and reportedly snuggling at a table.

Hopefully things will work out for them. It is nice to hear that a famous couple decided to make things work and not rush to divorce.

Maybe it's the sixteen year old and fourteen year old children and the sudden cold realization that Robin is the best thing he will ever have. I know the kids are older but you either are committed to and focused on your family, or you are not. When your divorce there is so much you miss out on, and even though many people get in and out of marriages like they are cheap jeans that don't fit, maybe he realized what he was losing.

Oh Lord people! Don't remember what went down with Madonna? How he used to play bad ass in public? Just because he hasn't gotten his nuts caught in his zipper lately doesn't mean he's been reformed. If anything, he's just another egocentric cretin lost in Horrorwood. Before you know it, he'll be in rehab for something or other. As for Robin, some women never learn. Too bad for her. Now I wonder if I can score some photos of any future public blow ups? Primo prices people, primo prices.

She's an Aries, which means that being hard to get is in her nature. Sean snapped and figured out that the best way to get her back was make her jealous, or go on with someone fine, if that didn't work....
Looks like she wouldn't have any of it. I'm sure he'd be first to admit that she never ever stopped owning his heart.
Sounds pretty damn romantic to me. I bet those were some hellacious sparks; and this is why complete strangers who don't even know this awesome couple are talking about them all over the world.
The one who has the most control in a relationship is always the one who cares the least.
I'm just glad they're back together. It's actually a better world this way.

I would take Robin Wright any day of the week over some lookalike bimbo (or just about anyone else in the world, other than my wife of course).

Looks like Mr. Penn regained his sanity.

Marry a GORGEOUS, talented woman ... dump her for a younger version of her, a model/actress who's claim to fame is she floated above rising water(!) ... go back to GORGEOUS, talented woman.

Is this a great country or what?

All you people with your snide comments about GW's alchoholism in that other thread should throw a barb or two at Mr. Penn, as he likes to get shitfaced a lot.

Despite his drunkeness, he's our greatest actor, IMO.

Jeez, Smelly, even you should get that it's not about being in the public eye, it's about the responsibility you hold; I think most elected officials would tell you how thankless the job is most of the time, and how you always get nailed when you fuck up, even for little things that most people would think twice about...

...but look on the bright side for Dubbya; he and his gang of miscreants are one of the biggest bunch of criminals in modern history, and they'll all likely get off with nothing more than being ridiculed in public--so you shouldn't shed too many tears on behalf of BushCo, and you shouldn't expect anyone else to either.

Smelly One,
Bush's alcoholism and its resultant warped thinking has caused more than 4,000 troop deaths and hundreds of thousands of permanent injuries to our armed forces. It's also brought America to financial ruin.
Sean Penn's drinking doesn't affect you one scintilla. Get a clue.

Not sure whether you noticed it or not, but Sean Penn isn't the President of a country....

Robin: take a cue from Simon LeBon's wife. Go up behind Sean while a documentary camera is rolling and reach between his legs to grasp his package. Then announce that "This is mine, girls." and make sure that the resulting video clip is in heavy rotation on YouTube.

Sean Penn is, and, always has been a two bit actor. And a huge jerk.
Bye Sean.......

Sean has been recognized as one of this countries most fearless and adventurous actors. His directorial efforts have always been highly praises and he is an Oscar winner. He isn't a part of the goody two shoes gang of conventional big name studio puppets that populate the less than stellar offerings that Hollywood has been churning out recently, and more power to him for that.
I doubt whether you have seen more than 2 of his films and that you formed your opinoin while at the check-out counter, perusing the cover of the National Enquirer. It shows.
