Is Giuliani's Daughter Ditching His Name?

Rudy Giuliani's kids, Andrew and Caroline, certainly didn't hide their disdain for their father and his latest wife Judith Nathan while he was running for President. Now that he's out of the race, his daughter Caroline has decided to forgo his last name for a shorter stage name. The Daily News says that Caroline hasn't "forsaken" her father's name, but according the report it looks like she sure isn't using promoting it publicly.

Good news for Rudy Giuliani: His estranged daughter, Caroline, has not forsaken his name. A Harvard alumni mag this month referred to her as Caroline Hanover, suggesting she's now using the name of her mother, Donna Hanover. Caroline, a student actress, tells The News' David Saltonstall: "People may make a mistake because I am so close to my mom, but I use my birth name [Caroline Rose] on a regular basis and occasionally Caroline Rose G. in the theater." She'll take a bow as Caroline Rose next week when she stars in a Harvard freshman production of "The Castaways."

It was a HUGE embarrassment for Rudy and negatively effected his campaign when it came out that Giuliani's daughter, on her facebook:

A) was a member of 1 million strong for Obama
B) had listed under "what I'm looking for": hookups, random play & whatever I can get

Therefore as Giuliani is still a potential member of an unfortunately still potential future administration, her ditching of his last name still has political currency and is not an invasion of privacy.

Actually, Kundera, using Obama's middle name is not a bad thing. Hussein means "beautiful child" and I have made it a point to thank many of your fellow right-wingers when they have used it in posts here. It is nice that conservatives like yourself, in spite of the fact that they don't like Barack Obama, the candidate, will still be courteous and cordial enough to pay him the high compliment of calling him by his middle name. It is a name that anyone should be proud to have.

Giuliani, on the other hand, is a despicable, disgusting piece of offal and any insults or criticism you may find of him here are more than well-deserved.

He's probably the most famous a-hole in politics in recent history. Normally the more voters get to know a candidate the more they like him, but with Rudy it was the opposite. It must be hard being related to such a jerk - honestly I'm surprised she didn't change her name earlier, but, I guess after the failed presidential bid. it became unbearable to be known as Rudy's daughter. Caroline came out for Obama months ago, so it's obvious she has a lot of sense, and fortunately for her, and the world, she takes after her mother and not Rudy.
