Bill Clinton Raises Bosnia, Gets Several Facts Wrong

As the saying goes, if you want political reporters to eat their vegetables, it helps if they have nothing else on their plate. The Clintons, meanwhile, are serving whoppers.

Former president Bill Clinton is the latest to hand out a juicy fib -- circling back to Bosnia to cram four falsehoods into 23 words: His wife, he said, "one time late at night when she was exhausted, misstated and immediately apologized for it, what happened to her in Bosnia in 1995."

Hillary has told many lies during this campaign and apparently throughout her life. The Bosnia lie should be enough to disqualify her from being Commander In Chief. It's a terrible lie. My husband is a retired Military and he just cannot get over that lie. It's insulting to the military. Bill Clinton has obviously lost his mind - and maybe Hillary is losing hers as well. I don't know. The only thing I do know is that I don't want either one of them near the White House.

What makes this story funny is that Bill brought it up as an illustration of how the media wrongly picked on Hillary for this story. I wonder how many F bombs Ms. Clinton dropped when she heard what he did? So he lies about what happened again and then defends her by saying she's old, tired and forgetful. She needs to put something over his mouth to stop him from helping her.

Hilary lied on the campaign trail. She looked bright and fresh as a daisy.

But the worst part was her lying about lying. And the even worse part of all this is Bill Clinton taking it out on us for being miffed about Hillry's lying.

I have heard Bill is/was a master strategician - but I have my doubts whether this is the correct way to win an election.........

A mis-speak I believe is a one time thing. An over and over in different speeches and in a book is called a what? I think in most dictionaries multiple times repeating something false is lying. But fellow Americans Bill Lied about the sex with that woman and what is "is". My friends think all politicians lie. I think many say things that might be a bit fish story but most good intentioned truths. Most would not run right out into a crowd and say some story they just heard and say it was the truth without first finding out what was the truth. Hillary has proven she has the Geo Bush weakness. She says lies long enough, often enough and people will believe her. I also wonder if she believe the lies herself.

I know this has been said before - I can't help but think that maybe Bill doesn't want Hill to win, wither consciously or not.
He may want to be able to say to her: "i was president and you weren't, na na na na na."
He's too smart to be "misspeaking" so many times, but then again, he is the perpetual victim with a serious credibility problem.

Could it be possible that Bill Clinton secretly does not want his wife to win? I've been appalled at his statements on the campaign trail--comparing Obama's SC victory to Jesse Jackson's, but saying his wife was tired and feeling her age when she misspoke about Bosnia takes the cake. With supporters like Bill, who needs enemies? I don't think he's drinking, at least not when he makes his speeches. And he's not a stupid man. Like any lawyer, he's careful about what he says. Maybe he just doesn't want to be First Gentleman and doesn't want a Hillary Clinton candidacy to overshadow his own. He may think his wife doesn't have a chance to win the general election, and he does not want to back a loser, even if that loser is his wife. He might even secretly support Obama. There could be any number of reasons for his behavior. As an Obama supporter, I hope he keeps it up. Besides, he is pretty entertaining.

You are right to the point. That is why some of us have serious misgivings about voting for Hillary. Bill and Hillary have certainly become a helluva lot richer over the last seven years, while most Americans have seen their financial situation grow dimmer!
