Barack Obama hammered rival Hillary Clinton for her denunciation of his comments at a fundraiser in San Francisco, and he criticized her recent admission over the weekend that she was a hunter:

"Shame on her," Obama said, echoing one of Clinton's own atacks on him. "Shame on her, she knows better."

Obama said he was disappointed with her for her response and then launched into a new criticism of Clinton over her recent admission of being a hunter, and compared her sarcastically to Annie Oakley.

"She's running around talking about how this is an insult to sportsmen, how she values the Second Amendment, she's talking like she's Annie Oakley! Hillary Clinton's out there like she's on the duck blind every Sunday, she's packin' a six shooter! C'mon! She knows better. That's some politics being played by Hillary Clinton. I want to see that picture of her out there in the duck blinds."

We have all been exposed to the story about Hillary Rodham being named after the conqueror of Mt. Everest. The reason for this was to give her the confidence to triumph over metaphorical mountains. What isn't known is that her middle name, Dianne is a tribute to the mythological Roman goddess of the hunt, Dianna. This is just amazing reading these posts. I've been involved and interested in politics for many, many years but I have never seen the level of close-minded adoration and the level of nastiness that Obama has inspired in his followers. Hillary is not an evil shrew no matter how much you want her to be and Obama is not your saviour no matter how much you want that from him. This video and last night's forum only shows that his is good at spin and deflection. In his closed door fundraiser with very wealthy people in San Francisco he thought he would be safe saying things that insulted the working people of PA. The forum shows that he can spin like a top but will not own his mistakes. The video shows that he has gone from condescending and insulting to whining and mocking. And yes, before the real Rev. Wright was discovered Obama did call him a mentor and got the title of his book from him. He also called Joe Lieberman a mentor when Holy Joe was running for re-election. And yes, his wife Michelle has done work for Wal-Mart (gasp) in her legal career. Why is there such a level of trust for a man than you know next to nothing about? Puzzling but explains why you have been labled with a cult mentality.

She was a director for a lower tier _supplier for Walmart_ TreeHouse Foods which supplied them with things like pickles and peppers, not even remotely comparable to your dame who sat on the freakin' board of Walmart.

Hillary fell from grace last night as she affected a dedicated Christian approach to life.
This, as Bill slammed Barack, and Hillary boasted of shooting a duck.
She should star in the revival of "Annie Oakley," - "I can shoot an arrow...." as she does quite regularly now at Barack, while Bill choruses with her "I can do most anything..­."

Secondly, Senator Obama's remarks did not ridicule anyone. He pointed out that many residents of small towns and rural areas are, quite rightfully, indignant, frustrated and bitter. They feel this way because no one in Washington has listened to their concerns or offered any concrete assistance while their jobs were lost and their economy has eroded. Sure, the Bush-Clinton-Bush administrations made promises about bringing back jobs, but this has not happened. Now, when you make false statements to appease people and get their vote - that is pandering - that insults their intelligence. And, that will end when President Obama takes office.
