Bill Clinton Claims To See Nonexistent "I'm Not Bitter" Signs

Former president Bill Clinton's campaign rally this morning at the junior high gym in Corydon, Indiana was a wealth of Hillary Clinton surrogates, among them many who had their own thoughts about Sen. Barack Obama's recent comments about small town voters....

Over seven stops in North Carolina, Clinton said "Everywhere I go there are all these people with signs, saying I'm not bitter - I'm not bitter."

This is a great tactic, Bill. Tell people how to feel. Tell them that they aren't bitter.
Aren't you bitter about Richardson's endorsement? What did you do after he betrayed you? Did you pray in church? Did your fingers caress a gun?
Aren't you bitter about all those pesky voters supporting Obama with their votes and their checks when your wife should have been the nominee? What did you do after Super Tuesday when you realized that this was really a contest? What did you do when Obama sewed it up to the point that the only way to win would be by tearing down Obama and the Democratic party? Did you pray on this, ask God why, ask for the strength to carry this to the bitter finish? Did your fingers caress your gun ask you watched the numbers come in for him time and time again?

I'm starting to feel a little bitter myself, Bill.

You know what would REALLY make me bitter? If you managed to install Hillary as the nominee. That would be bitter like when the supreme court sold their souls to put W in the White House.

I come from a small town and there was truth in Barack's statements. Perhaps he should have worded it differently but there was truth.
