Bill Clinton Claims To See Nonexistent "I'm Not Bitter" Signs

Former president Bill Clinton's campaign rally this morning at the junior high gym in Corydon, Indiana was a wealth of Hillary Clinton surrogates, among them many who had their own thoughts about Sen. Barack Obama's recent comments about small town voters....

Over seven stops in North Carolina, Clinton said "Everywhere I go there are all these people with signs, saying I'm not bitter - I'm not bitter."

You are so right and what gets me is that Obama appeared live on Chris Matthew college event a couple of weeks ago but he can't even get Hillary to appear. So as I watch Chris faithtully twice a day he's begining to denounce Obama. I'm watching MSNBC lesser now and I'm about to stop watching Chris.

MSNBC had reported earlier today that Bear Stearn that is now owned by JP Morgan is going to lay off 14,000 of their employees, but the gov't have money to save this organization but not the employees.­.......let­s see how long it take these people to become bitter.

Some of the meida is so....out of touch because most of them are making six figures so how can they really understand when the average person is suffering due to the economy. Frustration, anger, disappointed all means the same: BITTER.

You really should read todays' post by Nico Pitney. It's okay to be embarrassed and chagrined but for your own sake stop your dirty political attack against the best candidate in this race. We actually loved you when you were in office, but you started changing after leaving office. At one time, I had sympathy for your wife and for the first time ever I sent her a birthday card when she was going to be "grilled" by the right-wingers in Congress. I now believe that her ambition has turned her into a not very nice person and I would not trust her in your former job. You really don't have to defend her so viciously, she is more than capable of viciousness herself,and can defend herself. I believe in your heart you know that Senator Obama is the best candidate.

They will say anything to get back in the White House. Be sure this is their only goal. If they cared about the American people half as much as they say they do, they would not be taking us on this roller coaster ride about the TRUTH.

The Clintons have never campaigned against the TRUTH before. It is foreign to them. They aren't quite sure how to handle this. The are sinking lower and lower into the mud, and this has become the ugliest side of a woman vying for power that could ever have been imagined. Hollywood can't write drama this intense and ridiculous.

It is an amazing thing to see the TRUTH being distorted as a lie, and LIES taken for truth. A little soul searching is necessary here. Would you be proud to vote for a liar? Would you be proud if your child befriended the biggest liar in school, and hung out with him? Would you be proud if your own parents lied to you on a daily basis, disappointing you over and over, as you wanted to believe them? Of course not.

Then why in the world would you vote for someone who represents all of these things? Don't you know they will lie to you too?

The Clinton reality is starting to crumble. I am not even sure if what Bill does is lying anymore. It seems to be closer to dementia.

It is sad to to see what is becoming of a great American politician and leader. I am sure Bill feels that he can say anything and in a few years everyone will forget all the "misstatements" .

I can only speak for myself when I say that I cannot forget the fall of my once hero. I see the games being played and how this fools the people that need to trust the opinions of their leaders the most. I see that the majority of the country is tuned out to the process of electing our leaders. When a candidate or their surrogates stretches, misguides, lies or misspeaks they are taking advantage of us.

The government represents us, they do not rule us. We need to remember this as we move forward.
we cannot afford to take the word of people who blur the truth.

The reason he's working so hard on his wife's behalf is that he sincerely believes she would make a good president, better than he was, if daughter Chelsea's word is taken to heart. He's also doing penance for how much he humiliated her when he was president, and even for some of his missteps in this campaign, mostly having to do with race.

But perhaps most important, Clinton understands that if Barack Obama is elected, his presidency becomes an asterisk.

It's so cynical of the Clintons to make it seem like Obama feels people only turn to religion out of bitterness or anger.

He is clearly FAR more devout than either Bill or Hillary. He attends church regularly, but also prays regularly and clearly gives his religious beliefs and values much thought every day.
