I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Hillary Drinking

The Pennsylvania primary is around the corner, and with the votes of blue collar workers on the line, Democratic candidates are engaged in a full-blown beer-off.

Hillary started the weekend off right, chasing a shot of Crown Royal with a mug of Old Styles on Saturday.

Obama took some time during his Monday morning speech to the Alliance for American Manufacturing to question Hillary's swilling candor, as well as to attack charges that he is "out of touch" with the American public:

Now it may be that I chose my words badly. It wasn't the first time and it won't be the last. But when I hear my opponents, both of whom have spent decades in Washington, saying I'm out of touch, it's time to cut through their rhetoric and look at the reality.

After all, you've heard this kind of rhetoric before. Around election time, the candidates can't do enough for you. They'll "promise you anything, give you a long list of proposals and even come around, with TV crews in tow, to throw back a shot and a beer.

But if those same candidates are taking millions of dollars in contributions from the PACs and lobbyists, ask yourself, who are they going to be toasting once the election is over?

But not so fast. Not too long ago, Obama himself took a weekend trip to the bar, Yuengling in hand, according to the Politico:

He sipped a Yuengling beer, but his local knowledge fell short when he confessed he didn't know much about the regional brew widely consumed in Pennsylvania.

"You know I got a beer down there," Obama said to a male patron. "What do they call it? A Yuengling?"

"Yuengling," the man confirmed. "Like you didn't know."

"Trying a Pennsylvania beer, that's what I'm talking about," said Obama, his sleeves rolled up, smiling. "Is it expensive, though? ... Wanna make sure it's not some designer beer or something."

I just moved to Pennsylvania 5 months ago, and of course it took a person from the area to tell me that Yuengling wasn't an import. Now if they developed a car that could run on beer or whiskey, this would be worthy of our attention. In the meantime how about talking about the line of windmills at the Locust Ridge Wind Farm in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania, or the factory in Pittsburgh that has been converted into production of turbines. No the press would like to focus on the very wedge issues Obama has been warning us about!

Texas gave us George W Idiot. Texas then prevented Obama from wrapping up the nomination. Ohio gave George W Idiot a 2nd term which led to thousands more of our troops being murdered in Iraq and thousands more injured. Thanks Ohio and Texas.

And now we have Pennsylvania poised to join the morons of Ohio and Texas to further our countries sliding downwards. I'm sure Clinton will win big in PA now because of these thin skinned animal killers and haters of homosexuals. And then in the fall, I"m sure PA will hand the White House to another warmonger. These three states will be remembered in history as the ones that had a chance to take a different path for our country and chose to stay in the cold war mentality of the 20th century instead. Choose to continue go down the same track that 81 percent of the people say is the wrong track, but let's continue to vote in the same Washington DC lifers so they can change things. LOL. How stupid is that logic?

Shame on all three of these backward states.

It's nice to see that Obama's elitism spreads to the likes of JerryTheDevil.... Now you think that OHio, Texas and PA are all morons, because they don't think a long the same lines as you? Because they don't bow down to Saint Obama???? Now PA is a bunch of animal killers and Homosexual haters? You are as out of touch as your messiah.

Messiah is a word invented and used by people who believe there is an invisible man up in the sky that knows what everyone is doing every second of the day.

Senator Obama is a change from the status quo. Nothing more, nothing less. Voters are always whining about wanting change except when it comes to their elected leaders or the ones they support. Obama is true change. McCain and Clinton are inside Washington elites who won't take on the status quo.

The meaning of insanity is voting for the same type of candidate over and over and expecting different results.

It's not being an elite. It's called reality. A failure to evolve into a civilized society. God, Guns, & Gays. Obsessed with an invisible man up in the sky that doesn't exist, to enjoy the killing of animals who have no ways of defending themselves and to hate people because of their sexual orientation is just sick. There isn't that much disparity in the way that God, Guns, and Gay voters think and the way these Islamic lunatics think. A very narrow divide indeed.

I just want to say, yet again, that Obama won Texas by winning more delegates through the caucus system. Even though the Clinton campaign tried it's hardest to disrupt the caucus system at the county level through credential challenges (at our district they filed over 1000 challenges vs. 6-10 from the Obama campaign and delayed the caucus for 5 hours when they finally withdrew the last 950 challenges) the net for Obama from Texas is 3 delegates after the primary and the caucus to this level.

This was a hard-fought truly kind of horrifying experience with the actual Texans striving for unity by the county convention and having the Clinton campaign doing their level best to spread dis-unity by inviting partisan speakers where there was no equivialent Obama speaker (Sean Astin at my county conv., Terry McAuliffe at others), disrupting and delaying the conventions to try to get people to leave (mine finished at 4 in the morning when it should have finished at 8 in the evening) and threatening lawsuits against good people that were just trying to do their best and be part of the system. These are the kind of things that make it hard to think of unity in November and why the Democrats are going to need the whole summer to stitch the party back together in order to have a good shot at the White House in November and addressing the life and death situations for many Americans.

Hillary and John McCain are quite good friends and it seems odd that Hillary calls herself a democrat all the while endorsing and supporting McCain. While there is not one doubt she feels the nomination and the job should be hers one has to wonder now while her chance at winning is so slim it doesn't exist, the longer she palys the game the more of a chance John McCain has to win. She is running out the clock and the super delegates are letting her. I hold no fondness for all of those who will wait to see if she can find a way to steal the nomination. The actual numbers and not the lie of a tie should be put out but the MSM likes the blood she spills on attack. By the time it is the convention she will find the amount people will pay for Bill to speak and the amount of dollars filtered through their charity will be down a whole lot. After all who will want to hear Bill talk about himself and her when they have shown the true self? I wonder about off shore accounts with them and the charity accounting for the money they earned cannot have come legally.

Wasn't he burning Hillary with that "Wanna make sure it's not some designer beer or something" bit - remember the picture of her with a Blue Moon in hand? Don't care how you cut it, but a chic-designer-wheat-beer strikes me as kinda elitist.

I have to say that picture just makes me ill. She looks like a buck toothed hillbilly swillin down a shot. Good God she's no better or smarter than "W".

I find her behavior embarrassing. She should be ashamed of herself. I thought we wanted a change from embarrassing, moronic behavior. I for one have had more than enough. Get her out of there and let's get on with the business of putting a Dem in the White House. She really doesn't even qualify anymore. We'vw had more than enogh of "Liar in Chief".

Of course he makes fun. He sips bubby with billionaires in SF, laughing all the way while his lemmings send in 20 bucks in hope of change!

San Franisco is a wonderful city. If you have ever been there, you would know that.

And I'm sure Hillary knows a couple of billionaires. They are the only ones donating to her campaign.

as opposed to Hillary? She and Bill made 109 million dollars in the last 7 years, grew up in wealthy Park Ridge Il, lives in Chappaqua NY which is in the top 5 wealthiest towns in America. She relies on big maxed out donors and lobbyists and PACs.
Obviously, a woman of the people.

I bet she is a closet drinker like Bush. She sure knew her Royal Crown. She looks kind of experienced with that drinking shots and drinking down the beer. She sure can slam them.

I see my Sen. Herb Kohl all the time at a local dinner and Barack has way more personal
down to earth appeal than Herb. Herb "how about my Bucks team" named after his pocket book. (500 million)

Isn't it funny that McCain won't call Obama an elitist even though he was being baited inton saying it.

Sen. Clinton said it without prompting, maybe it is the alcohol talking. Hillary should be ashamed of herself.

Hilary Clinton is JOhn McCain's ace in the hole and I have a feeling democrats are starting to realize this and if she doesnt win PA by 10 or more superdelegates are going to start coming out for Obama and making it IMPOSSIBLE for her to ever catch up. She is a joke she has insulted Obama more than McCain has this is why I must have low self esteem because I loathe the democratic party yet I vote for them. They are useless inept cowards.

Carol

it's too bad you don't know what your talking about. I find that as a pretty common trait about Obama supporters. Most say they like Obama because he's 'different', now that's a trait you can vote for!
