Fox Business Host Alexis Glick Compares Yankees-Red Sox To NYT-Boston Globe, Doesn't Realize NYT Owns The Globe

Huffington Post   Danny Shea First Posted: 4/22/08 Updated: 5/25/11

Alexis Glick

This morning on Fox Business Network's "Money for Breakfast," host Alexis Glick made another embarrassing mistake when discussing a potential partnership between bitter rivals the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees. Hosting the Boston Globe's Jenn Abelson, Glick said, "That would be like watching the New York Times and the Boston Globe get together," while a confused Abelson let out a nervous smile.

The Boston Globe is a subsidiary of The New York Times Company.

In November, Glick misreported that Apple was buying AMD (she meant Abu Dhabi).

It was odd comments constantly that probably got her removed from the "Today" program.

That's like going to Chipotle's because you don't want to eat at McDonald's.

"Fox Business" is like "Fox News."

If there's a Fox in the name, you know it's garbage.

Typical of the pretty face reporters, all looks no intellectual talent. Look a Couric.

I don't care what she says, as long as she continues to look cute saying it.

And you would be just the guy she would avoid if she heard that comment ...and understood it.

So in other words, she's perfectly suited to her position in the ever-laughable Fux News Hall of Ineptitude.

Both FOX NEWS and FOX Business don't rely on research or facts

A lot of the female commentators on Fox seem to be there more because of their looks and less because of their intelligence. It's amazing how stupid some of them are, they seem to have no business at all 'pretending' to be real news anchors. It must suck to be a female anchor at Fox who is intelligent, because these other women are making them look juvenile. Glick is a freakin' business anchor - how can she not know the NY Times owns the Globe?! Those are 2 of the biggest papers in the country. I feel bad for all the idiots who actual get there news from people like Glick, well i don't feel that bad...
