Jennifer Lopez Babies Baptized

In Touch Weekly reports:

On February 22, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony were given the blessings they had long prayed for: healthy boy and girl twins, Max and Emme. Seven weeks later, on Saturday April 12, the couple brought their babies to a church in Long Island, NY, just miles from their Brookville home, to be baptized. The intimate ceremony, attended by only their closest friends and family members, was followed by a reception at Jennifer and Marc's estate. Jennifer's rep did not return calls for comment.

Hallelujah, now if they die, they'll go to HEAVEN instead of LIMBO. Oh, forgot, the Catholic Church recently eliminated LIMBO. 800 years worth of unbaptized babies; guess the place got full. Wonder where they all went. ha. Oh, PURGATORY no longer exists either. Wonder what'll be next... heaven and hell?.

Of course, they've already each been divorced a bunch of times.
I always thought "limbo" was one of the dumbest lies the Catholic church ever spinned, along with going to hell if you ate a hamburger on Friday.

Theda, you are so right! I forgot about the prior marriages (how could I possibly forget such inconsequential information?). That means they are not married in the eyes of the church unless the previous marriages were annulled.

But at least their babies have had their Original Sin removed, Limbo or no Limbo.

Yes, so many previously mortal sins are no more. I always wonder about all the people who had to go to hell with the old rules; do they get out now or are they doomed for eternity?

Eating meat on Friday.. Missing mass on Sunday and Holy Days of Obligation. Can you think of any others?

With no Purgatory, that means we don't have to say "ejaculations" (lol) to reduce the number of days we suffer in that temporary Hell. At least we didn't live a few centuries ago when they actually made people pay good money for indulgences to buy their way out.
