Will Ferrell dusted off his George W. Bush impersonation Sunday night to raise money for autism education. The cause, Comedy Central's "Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Benefit For Autism Education," was started by "Saturday Night Live" writer Robert Smigel, whose son is autistic. Ferrell, as Bush, shared reflections of his legacy with host Jon Stewart.

1989 called and asked to have the NOT back. Maybe this guy's idea of funny is Dana Carvey or some outdated shit.

This was funny, in a scary truthful way...

Apparently you have your irony detector turned off. It was Bush saying it. Jesus.

Ferrell is good at one thing and that's making Bush look like the idiot he is, after that he needs to park the bus.

You surely are a expert on comedy.

Does anyone doubt that Will Ferrell would in fact be a much, much, much better president than the one who actually got sworn into the office?

Only one man can be the unfunniest man in America, and right now, Will Ferrell has the edge on Jon Stewart. But for how long?

Here is an excerpt from the a new book, the REAGAN DIARIES and it is an actual quote that
Reagan wrote about George "W" in his diaries, recently edited by
author Doug Brinkley and published by Harper Collins.

"A moment I've been dreading. George brought his n'er-do-well son
around this morning and asked me to find the kid a job. Not the
political one who lives in Florida; the one who hangs around here
all the time looking shiftless. This so-called kid is already
almost 40 and has never had a real job. Maybe I'll call Kinsley
over at The New Republic and see if they'll hire him as a
contributing editor or something. That looks like easy work."

From the REAGAN DIARIES------entry dated May 17, 1986.

The fact that this is so close to the truth, (as to the absurdity of the entire Bush Quagmire we've all come to know and love) that it's not even funny. Prison would be funny.....I'd laugh like hell at that.

Huff Post loves Barack-- Jon Stewart loves Hillary-- does this answer the blogger's question as to how they came up with the title of this blog--

How did you come to that conclusion?
Stewart loves Hillary because he made a joke about Obama at the oscars? Have you ever watched the Daily Show?

Leave it to Comedy Central to present the day's news. We surely get none from FAUX NOISE.

I used to watch the conservative comentators and think they had a point sometimes - before GWB - then they started lying through their teeth to justify him. They're probably smarter than me, so if they are lying to my face when it's obvious, when are they lying and I don't catch them at it.

The first time I was old enough to vote was in '68 - after seeing the democratic convention - which means I didn't vote for a democrat until Kerry - again, thanks to GWB. He and his cronies have revealed conservativism to be a con. Laisezz-faire democracy, to convservatives, exists so we don't have to resort to feadulism to keep the poor people from taking the rich people's shit when they recognize they're being conned.

So I don't need anyone to explain anything to me. And I don't have any conservative friends and I wouldn't allow someone who called themselves one in my house. At this point they're either stupid or just evil. Sounds like you're both.

Damn it, would you people stop using 'faux' incorrectly. If it's faux, then it's fake. Fox news is not "fake" noise - that would be a compliment. It is Faux News however - why isn't that good enough.

Your right of course. We watch both local and network news and we get more truth out of the sillines on the Daily Show and The Colbert Report than anywher else. Used to watch cable news, but there's too many news trolls of both stripes.

Much like George, John McCains ACTUAL actions, words, and mannerisms are so absurd and surreal that you have to wonder if his entire career is not some sort of elaborate performance art parody of a politician selling himself and his country out in pure service of political power.

McCain is now too old to even keep our supposed enemies straight, in that he was maintaining, multiple times, even after neocon buddy Joe Lieberman corrected him in public, that was Iran training their mortal enemies al qeada to attack us in Iraq.

Here is a guy that simply does not get it, or is going senile, or both, but in the throes of his dementia is still grasping at the reigns of power, seemingly also utterly ignorant of the fact that his own party is in shambles and largely dislikes him.

I knew about the anit-Hillary bias on this site (which Hillary is starting to deserve I'm sad to say)... but who at HuffPo dislikes Jon Stewart? No other reason for the HEADLINE other than sloppy journalism.

Children arent "autistic" they have autism. Autism does not define the person.

Autism Speaks is a front group for denial from big pharma and GE to deny their "contribution" to autism - the dirty vaccines.

The Wrights grandson was treated using biomedical interventions but this group at this point refuses to mention that as a possibility for others (because it involves the premise they are vaccine injured).

Thank you for this newest addition to the lexicon of Political Correctness. Your rigor in this respect is almost as noteworthy as your penchant for unproven allegation.

I might pay attention to you if you produced some rigorous scientific proof of your charge against the pharmaceutical companies. Until then, I think I'll just keep using "autistic" whenever I feel like it, and let my actions with respect to those children speak louder than my willingness to be castigated by a self-appointed moral arbiter for use of a perfectly adequate word.

you realize that vaccination as a cause of autism is completely unproven (much in the same way that decline in pirates is not correlated to a rise in the earth's temperature). Worse yet, it's the ignorance of people like you who don't get their kids vaccinated that have caused an exponential explosion in the instances of MMR related illness in children...

Lead and formalgahyde, abestos and other ingredients used to manufacture carpeting, wall coverings, bedding and so much more. The man made "chemicals" touted as miraculously saving us in woes, causing woes but $$$ would be lost if recognized as prime causitives to ill health issues even when devasting to those hit by such, the $$$ take priority, such remains the true value in our system !!
