Politico:

In what could be a preview of the Democrats' main foreign policy attack in the fall, Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joe Biden (D-Del.) is expected to criticize Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) for his support of the Iraq war and argue that "there is no daylight" between the presumptive Republican nominee and President Bush in a speech at Georgetown University.

"John McCain remains wedded to the Bush Administration's myopic view of a world defined by terrorism," Biden will say according to prepared remarks obtained by Politico.

Maybe if this nomination process ends up being a brokered convention, they will choose Biden as their candidate. An elder statesman, he's the only one who can step up into McCain's face and say "you're just dead wrong on Iraq" and have the experience to back it up.

Joe was my first choice as a candidate and it's disappointing he withdrew Since his withdrawal, however, he continues to impress me. I can think of no better person than him to tackle the job of trying to restore America's legitimacy in the world's eyes. Biden for Secretary of State .
