Obama: Hillary, McCain Using "Very Same Words" Against Me

Barack Obama said yesterday that Hillary Clinton is using attacks from the GOP playbook. Today his campaign circulated a fundraising letter, charging that Hillary Clinton and John McCain are using the "the very same words" to attack him. Obama isn't the only one who says it's two against one. The Washington Post points out that Hillary and John McCain are sounding like they are in an echo chamber when it comes to attacking Obama these days.

Sen. John McCain joined in the criticism of Sen. Barack Obama yesterday for Obama's comments about "bitter" victims of small-town economic distress, while Obama's rival for the Democratic presidential nomination weighed in with a tough new ad on the controversy.

Speaking at a gathering of newspaper editors and executives in Washington, McCain echoed the rebuke voiced repeatedly by Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, calling Obama's characterization "a contradiction from what I believe America is all about."

Maybe if HRC would stop acting like a Republican , more people would get on board with her. Cmon, that shot drinking and duck story was so tacky. I still think she is better than John McCain, and she's trying her best to win, thats what politicians do. After months of Senator Clinton trying to tear down Obama's messages of hope and change by calling them, "just words, not action," now she exploits a couple of missplaced "words" to no end! Hypocrisy? Calculation? I think so. You know I think both Hill/Mccain know that Obama will be the winner of the Dem. nomination, but I also believe (and have for quite some time) that the media is pushing so strongly for Hillary and that they have accomplices' in the GOP. Have you noticed the huge deal about "bittergate"? They've milked that out now for what 4 days? I've heard Rove, Pat Buchanan and today even Tweety (Chris Mathews) defend her and downing Obama. The media all along too, has been trying to get us to believe that they are easy on Obama. Give me a freekin' break.

The only good coming out of this petty B.S. is that Obama handles it perfectly, without lashing out AND he's not losing any momentum in the polls. Please Obama, whatever you do, DON'T ask Hillary to be your VP. In the beginning, I would have been totally jazzed about a ticket with either of them as Pres/VP.....no longer.
