Obama: Hillary, McCain Using "Very Same Words" Against Me

Barack Obama said yesterday that Hillary Clinton is using attacks from the GOP playbook. Today his campaign circulated a fundraising letter, charging that Hillary Clinton and John McCain are using the "the very same words" to attack him. Obama isn't the only one who says it's two against one. The Washington Post points out that Hillary and John McCain are sounding like they are in an echo chamber when it comes to attacking Obama these days.

Sen. John McCain joined in the criticism of Sen. Barack Obama yesterday for Obama's comments about "bitter" victims of small-town economic distress, while Obama's rival for the Democratic presidential nomination weighed in with a tough new ad on the controversy.

Speaking at a gathering of newspaper editors and executives in Washington, McCain echoed the rebuke voiced repeatedly by Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, calling Obama's characterization "a contradiction from what I believe America is all about."

Thanks for posting this. For those who enjoy a two a one, maybe a family member ganged up and bloody when they come home because this is exactly what's happening. Fortunately Barack's got a family behind him who will hand it right back to the bullies(Hillary, McCain, and Fox) for the general election. Make it a three on one(take Leiberman) to keep it fair.

I have several relatives in PA, a sister-in-law from the same place as Clinton's dad. She says "ya know?" all the time, and I've noticed Clinton doing that too in PA, "ya know?" in stead of her usual "you know". We've all heard the black and white southern accents, but I've never heard her speaking to a crowd of Mexicans. If anyone has a tape, please post it. I imaging it sort of Don Rickles-ish.

The picture says it all. Hillary is part of the McCain camp. She is doing his dirty work for him, by
attacking a fellow Democrat, and giving the republicans all the ammunition they need. In fact McCain, does not have to spend any money on negative ads, the Clinton camp is doing that for them too.

McCain apparently has asked his campaign, NOT to attack Hillary but certainly Obama.
He wants her to win, so that they can have a field day, attacking her, and the Clinton baggage.

Just in case some of the Hillary supporters are getting too comfortable running around torching things, your damage will inevitably come to an end as we turn our attention back to actual primaries. Hillary's tactics may give her a couple additional points in Pennsylvania, but in the meantime Obama is still collecting delegates, and the more primaries we finish up, the more inexorable the mathematical results become. Obama is far too strong to be blown out by this double-teaming, but Hillary will gain a couple of points here and there. You know it's not enough. He just refuses to crumble, doesn't he? That's all that really matters at this point.

I can't wait for the primaries. We don't have to win big. We don't even have to win. We just need to hang on to the lead and defend the Hail Marys.

The Rasmussen Poll showed in Penn, the reaction divided upon supporter lines. However, nationally, 56% disagreed with him.
