Rob Lowe's Nanny Speaks Out, Claims Groping And Flashing

Last Monday actor Rob Lowe wrote an exclusive blog for Huffington Post as preemptive strike against what he described as a $1.5M blackmail attempt by a former nanny to his two sons. He has since filed a lawsuit against her and two other members of his household staff. Tuesday that nanny, Jessica Gibson, appeared on Today with her attorney Gloria Allred. She claims she was sexually harassed and assaulted but kept working because she needed the job. (SCROLL FOR VIDEO & HER COUNTERSUIT)

Jessica Gibson told Today:

"I love the children, I needed the job, and I always thought it would get better -- and I was scared," Gibson told TODAY's Meredith Vieira Tuesday, one day after she filed a countersuit against the actor and his makeup artist wife, Sheryl Berkoff.

"A lot of people in her position are scared to go against someone who is rich and powerful and a famous celebrity such as Rob Lowe," added Gibson's attorney, Gloria Allred...

In court documents filed Monday, Gibson alleges: "On several occasions beginning in or about September 2005 and ending in or about January 2008, without consent, Cross Defendant Rob Lowe placed his hand inside Gibson's pants in order to touch her crotch. In or about December 2007, Cross Defendant Lowe grabbed Gibson's buttocks without consent."

Meanwhile, TMZ has Rob Lowe's nanny Jessica Gibson's countersuit:

In her suit, Gibson claims Lowe not only groped her, he repeatedly exposed his "flaccid penis" and his "erect penis" to her, repeatedly asked her "to touch his penis," repeatedly masturbated in front of her, showed her pornographic images on his computer, asked her to give him a massage and tell him dirty stories ... and that's just Rob!

She then says Rob's wife Sheryl walked around naked --"completely exposing herself" -- made "numerous sexually vulgar comments about male genitalia," "would talk about her sex life" with Rob and said that "she would never have a boyfriend because only a married man would want to f*** her."

Meanwhile, several of Lowe's other employees have come to Lowe's defense:

Lowe's estate manager, Carol Andrade, defended the actor in a written declaration provided to Lowe's legal team and obtained by PEOPLE: "Jessica never told me ... that Rob ever said or did anything that she found inappropriate or offensive or that made her feel uncomfortable ... or made sexual advances toward her."

In another declaration, Jennifer Dynof, president of Lowe Profile, a company owned by Lowe, also stated that she'd never witnessed any questionable behavior by Lowe.

"[In the past four years working for Rob], I have never seen him make any sexual advances toward any other woman or act inappropriately, offensively or disrespectfully toward any woman," Dynof stated.

Both employees added they would testify in court if need be.

Celebrities are NO DIFFERENT than anyone else. A few have morals and integrity, a few have none, and most lie between the two extremes. But I truly believe that a lot of the really popular Hollywood celebrities think they are God-like and deserve privileges above and beyond the average person. I'm terribly suspicious of Rob's rush to file and publicize his lawsuit. From what I've read thus far, I am siding with the nanny. She seems to be calm and collected. Rob seems to be in a perpetual frenzy....­hmmm....ma­kes me wonder why.

What did you believe about Jennifer Flowers, Kathy Willey, and the rest of the Clinton girls who complained about groping and other deeds by our boy Bill. Seems to me all the female libs were outraged that any woman could accuse Bill of such deeds.

While I think the Hollywood crowd is a bunch of assholes, this sure seems to be a scam. Also, from what we've heard, it appears to be unprovable. Classic he said, she said. Take the whole thing and toss it in the garbage can.

It's become a lucrative business to level false charges against celebs. It's now impossible to know if there's any truth to accusations because there is such a big incentive to level false charges for a big payday.

First I don't believe her...but let's say for arguments sake the first incident did happen, If you are the nanny,you are out of there in a flash-- You don't wait to see if it will happen again. Which is what she did. If she is not lying then she is also stupid. Let me just stay and see if he will stop! First its his word against yours. Second his wife is not going to believe you. Second, not sure Rob is a Republican, he grew up in Malibu in a very liberal lifestyle, but even if he is...he is one of the most handsome men in Hollywood and could probably get a whole raft of women WHO aren't taking care of his kids. We don't know the truth, probably ought to wait for that. Often these claims are about getting money and advancing a career.

Sorry, Gloria Allred is just another ugly lawyer who needs to make money to continue her lifestyle of the rich and Famous. That's how bad America has devolved into. If there's one that has become obvious over the years. You don't hire Gloria, she hires you. Apparently based on how much publicity she can get.

Obviously I don't know what if anything occurred, but that fact that Allred is involved suggests not.

I believe her - completely. She may have had a crush on Mr. Lowe, but that does not mean he did not sexually harrass her. I personally don't get what the big deal is about Lowe. He is kind of insipid looking in my opinion, and has very limited talent. As any one can see, the girl is very pretty and young, just like Mr. Lowe likes them, if you know his past history. His wife is older than he is, and while he may love her, she is not particularly attractive. The guy has a proven track record of being a sleazeball.

I can't get over how badly this story is written, full of cliches and titilating ET-ish crud, but Meredith the trooper sells it with her field-hockey lockjaw. It looks like The Today Show is so far gone, so unwatchable, it's lost forever. And don't get me started on Lauer. He's worse than she is. As for the Lowe situation, handsome + rich + famous = victory. Sorry, honey.
