Gwyneth Paltrow is on the cover of the May issue of Vogue, and inside she reveals she battled post-partum depression after having her second child Moses in 2006. Us and E! got early looks.

"You know, I had postnatal depression after [my second child] Moses," Gwyn says. "I didn't know I had it until after it was over. I just didn't know what was wrong with me...I felt really out of my body. I felt really disconnected. I felt really down; I felt pessimistic."

She suspects her depression stemmed from cutting down on her usual treatments like acupuncture.

Paltrow also revealed that Madonna's trainer Tracy Anderson was hers first, and that she introduced Tracey to Madonna. "I still haven't learned my lesson about not sharing my people with Madonna, because she steals them away forever."

The three have been spotted leaving workouts together at Madonna's home gym three times this week.

Paltrow the style icon also tells Vogue that she's pared her daily wardrobe down to a few items like minidresses and tights, a pair of jeans, two coats and a couple of different-style boots in the winter. "It's like I want to eliminate all of the fuss. I don't have time anymore to sit there and be like, What should I wear? What goes with this?"

That's the worst photoshop job I've ever seen. There should be an asterix next to her head and a disclaimer that we are just looking at a "likeness of Gweneth."

There is a cure for post partum depression.... STOP HAVING CHILDREN! Will responsible birth control and zero population growth ever catch on in this egocentric, stupid world?

Imagine a depressed Gwyneth?
Yikes!
She's unbearable as it is.
The plastic surgeon Madonna stole made Gwyneth look like Christina Applegate and Madonna look like Angie Dickinson.
Can't believe she's Blythe Danner's daughter .
She's a hoot

As a doctor specializing in diseases of the rich, I not only empathize with Gwenyth Paltrow, but am eager to reach and help her ... for a purely nominal fee, of course.

If I weren't paid to care, I probably wouldn't.

God, Gwyneth is loathsome. She shouldn't share her people because Madonna steals them? Lovely how she talks about people as possesions to be traded, isn't it?. And, who is that a picture of? Sure ain't Gwyneth. They photoshopped out a good 4 inches of her man jaw. Seriously, doesn't look a thing like her. I thought it was Juliet from Lost.

Acupuncture to treat post partum depression? What an effing idiot.

i used to work in 'big-time' corporate advertising on both the agency and client side....and i do not believe anything - anything - i see in print or broadcast after the experience. they photoshop absolutely everyone, most until they are unrecognizable. television same as print - they touch up everyone, frame by frame.

This happens in the 8 month of pregnancy according to ancient Hindu medical texts (Caraka Samhita). For some reason, it carries over after delivery in some women. Since the body of the mother and the foetus are in a bi-cardial/psychic state the mother senses an alternation of sorrow and joy during the 8th month. This has to do with psychic strength (Sanskrit, Ojas) which is trying to develop in the foetus which the mother is picking up--but the foetus is also picking up the mother's strength or the lack thereof. As one senses the other there is the alternation of sorrow and joy. I would advise Gwyneth to find a good Lama with experience in this medicine.

OMG!!!! You just take it easy and get better girl! We're all rootin' for you. Maybe Tom Cruise can straighten it all out for ya for a small donation to the organization?

I am not very interested in what this young woman says about anything, but I must admit she has a great gift for acting.
