Yesterday's New York Observer had a candid and confidential one-on-one interview with a high-end New York madame.

"It's like Babel," she said of New York City, in her high-pitched, Latin-tinged voice. "It's very tempting. You can buy anything you want, anywhere. Everyone is so busy, they don't have time for relationships. And no time for love. So you pick up the phone and you just want to have companionship for as long as you desire and it's there for you, for men most of the time. Unfortunately, women don't have the same options."

She ordered a grande latte. She wore a long blond wig. Her outfit was all black: black jacket with a fur collar; sleek, tight-fitting black pants; and black pumps. She wore bright pink lipstick. Her cell phone was also pink. Pink is her favorite color. She'd like me to say she's in her late 30s. The work she's had blurs the lines, but Jane's pushing 50. A few years back she did time in Rikers. She's been following the Spitzer scandal closely. Suffice it to say, she can read between the lines.

"The women who are working girls, that's why they get into the business--they don't want to get hurt anymore, not be lied to, promised love and commitment when men don't want that, they just want sex. So let's just be truthful and let's all be happy."

I heard/read somewhere a "Entrepreneur" said she doesn't do anything that some housewives do for a Happy Meal, she just gets a "fair market price" . . .

If women would pay for dick, we'd see a very QUICK change in laws.

;-)

The entrapreneur must have been the late billionaire known from Time magazine ;Bernie Cornfeld,. He helped US Steel and the richest men in the world learned a great deal from his pyramid effect for marketing. When I met her at Bernie's mansion in Beverly Hills whenI lived with Bernie and lived in a suite oin the oppsite side of the mansion in my own room as his "bookkeeper, makeup artist, or cook, party hostess and just good pal), all the girls in our modelling agency warned me about her. She used to claim she was going to be a partner with this big time madame, and wanted to take over the real Madams business, and that Heidi was forced into it really and had no way out. She said she would give foreign princes and kings women who these men would pay up to 10,000 a night just to be iwith a real " beauty". She said this real Lady of the night was going to hurt her. I felt like her mother and disagreed with all her plans and ideas for this "quick money" she intended on making and then she said she would retire. She was sort of funny in her sleezy way. I did not let her touch me with a ten foot pole. Thank God. She actually is a good atennis player.

I meant she is a good tennis player, (but I'm better- and she knows this.) They threaten you in LA if you don't scum out sometimes. I won't mention names because I really don't know any, and Heidi wouldn't either - or maybe I did not reaed her book, but she asked celebrities to go on dates and they said yes to some celebrity men. At the time she offered to pay the women celebrities to meet other celebrity men, and some were out of work so they said yes, agreeing it was just a date and nothing was expected. She was a victim of someone elses mistakes. I knew her friend Bernie Cornfeld well, and managed his finances in Switzerland for him, and although he treated her more like a friend and me a daughter almost and a best friend, and I lived with him,. I was able to tell him she was sleezy. He thought all women were in a way. Just their brains were below the wasteline...to him. Witty man, and quiet and brilliant. He died in Israel. He was proud to be Jewish, and very nice to me. I still have a picture of him on my mantle.

If a man did what this gal did, he would get a high five, be told, bravo you scored big. Heidi does it, and she is given a scarlett letter on her chest. I am not going to judge her for anything she did. I know other women like her to did the same thing to pay for med school. If guys are willing to pay for it, know its going to cost them, what is the issue? Nobody said everyone had to do it, but for those who want to, hey, who am I to judge them? When you see the church doing basically the same thing, calling it religion, laundering it for the mob, really, how is this any worse? She is running a service for men who want it, can't get it at home or at all, and both profit from it. That is the american way kiddo.
