Imus: Obama "Almost A Bigger Pussy" Than Hillary

MediaMatters reports that on his radio show this morning, Don Imus said that Barack Obama is "almost a bigger pussy than [Hillary Clinton]." From the Media Matters summary:

During the April 17 edition of Imus in the Morning, host Don Imus asserted that Sen. Barack Obama is "almost a bigger pussy than" Sen. Hillary Clinton. While discussing the April 16 Democratic debate, Imus said he thought that co-moderator George Stephanopoulos was "great" and that the debate was "fine," adding: "I thought Senator Obama was on the defensive most of the night. But they're both sissy boys or sissy girls, or whatever. Because they talk big when they're out on the campaign trail, wolfing on each other." News anchor Charles McCord interjected, "But then," and Imus continued: "And then when they show up at the debate, they fold up like a couple of cheap lawn chairs. I mean, I don't understand that. And he's almost a bigger pussy than she is."

So what if he's got a soft side? After the past 7+ years, his respectful, reflective style is just what this country needs to restore its image in the world.

Imus is buds with McCain. He should ask his buddy McCain why he won't support the GI Bill currently before the Senate. I've always liked Senator McCain but his use of footage from his internment as a POW is getting to be embarrassing given his lack of support for the troops in Iraq. And I've yet to figure out why being a POW enables you to be President. And most of McCain's wealth comes from his wife so what kind of kitty cat does that make McCain. . .

Disclosure: Love me some I-Man. Obama? ditto. Karma's a bitch, though! Obama is asking folks to not pay attention to the endless loop of a few unpopular comments by his pastor-Jeremiah Wright, and judge him on his breadth of good deeds. Sound familiar Barry? You proclaimed judgement on Imus ("He wouldn't be working for ME."), irrespective of his breadth of good deeds. I hope Obama can express his newfound perspective and reach out to Imus. Is that naive of me?

I'm not really an Imus fan, but I gotta say, he's got a point here. They're both acting like school children. Obama's shiney armor is beginning to tarnish. He's starting to get a dose of reality. Ever since the Kennedy endorsements, he's been acting like he's some sort of saviour. He's starting to realize that he is a mere mortal, like the rest of us.
That's the trouble with setting such lofty goals. They're impossible to live up to.

Anybody who says that Obama has been acting like some sort of saviour hasn't been paying attention.
His speeches have always been about getting the American public involved because he can't do it alone. One of his campaign slogans: "Yes We Can!" doesn't sound like someone who is self absorbed. Who has over a million individual small contributors to his campaign? Who has awakened the masses of Democrats, Republicans and Independents and has them believing that their vote will count and can change things in this election?

The sleeping giant has awakened and the status quo is scared. That's what I see.

Obama has been a member of a Church for 20 years with a racist Pastor. If you read Obama's account of sitting in the Pews listening to Rev. Wright give his "Audacity of Hope" sermon it's easy to see the racism of Wright. Obama was listening as Wright complained about 'White Greed in a World of Need" and the bombing of Hiroshima, which caused the War to end without more Americans being killed.
