Imus: Obama "Almost A Bigger Pussy" Than Hillary

MediaMatters reports that on his radio show this morning, Don Imus said that Barack Obama is "almost a bigger pussy than [Hillary Clinton]." From the Media Matters summary:

During the April 17 edition of Imus in the Morning, host Don Imus asserted that Sen. Barack Obama is "almost a bigger pussy than" Sen. Hillary Clinton. While discussing the April 16 Democratic debate, Imus said he thought that co-moderator George Stephanopoulos was "great" and that the debate was "fine," adding: "I thought Senator Obama was on the defensive most of the night. But they're both sissy boys or sissy girls, or whatever. Because they talk big when they're out on the campaign trail, wolfing on each other." News anchor Charles McCord interjected, "But then," and Imus continued: "And then when they show up at the debate, they fold up like a couple of cheap lawn chairs. I mean, I don't understand that. And he's almost a bigger pussy than she is."

Boycott time!!! Everybody, I want you to watch Imus, Fox, and ABC for one day each. I want you to write down every company that sponsors them and never watch these channels again. I want you to call them and their sponsors up. Tell them you won't buy their products anymore unless they stop supporting the complacent, out of touch, seemingly conspiratorial media. While Mrs. Clinton is desperate enough to "choose" to fight tooth and nail to win the nomination, she is still Mr. Obama's Democratic "sister", and Mr. Obama is "choosing" not to try to destroy her, only to defeat her and become the Democratic nominee for President. Brothers and sisters don't fight one another with the same "gloves off" brutality that they employ when they are fighting "outsiders". At least they don't when they think of themselves as being part of a "family". Any man or woman who would "punch" his brother or sister in the face with all his or her might, isn't thinking about the "family", they're thinking only about themselves. The American people are the ultimate FAMILY. Mr. Obama has good reason not to try and destroy Mrs. Clinton because it his objective to unite the Democratic Party and the American people. Mr. Obama will take off the gloves and fight with his "bare knuckles" against Mr. McCain. His greater goal is to win the war against Republicans, and he wants to do as little damage to the Democratic "family" during the battle to win the nomination. Why do so many thick and slow thinking fools continue fail to see the forest for the trees?

The real problem is that most media commentators think that the American political process has to be a bitter brawl of attacks and counter-attacks and if a politician doesn't sink to the lows of tearing his/her opponent up, then he/she doesn't have what it takes to be President. When did we become so warped in our views as Americans? Where the highest and most important job in the land has as its qualificat­ions.... most negative, most aggressive, most slick.

What message are we sending to our children and what difference is there between politicians and bullies in schools? Lastly, if they have to go through the rituals of attack and conquer, why do we think this won't be their operating style in the White House? We expect politicians to enact the "worse" aspects of human nature to become elected and then expect them to work together in Congress and solve our problems. We are being naive.... we have to change the tone and approach of what we expect in the political process. We should expect and vote on the individual's ability to demonstrate the BEST of the human spirit and certainly, not the worse.

Church for 20 years and doesn't know what the guy who runs the Church stands for - when in
reality - Obama became a member of that church for political reasons. We are supposed to
ignore the fact Obama sits on a Board with a guy who wanted to bomb more building in the
U.S. We are supposed to ignore that the guy who helped Obama buy his $ 2 million house, is on his way to prison. At first Obama said, "I only worked for him for a few hours," He later admitted
